Mar 25, 2026A Nice Place Not Too Far From The Beach
We booked our stay as a last minute vacation. We had a room with 2 queen beds and a small patio space outside the room (#120). The room was nice, but a little cramped. The only chair was the desk chair. That meant laying on the beds to watch TV or relax. If you plan to spend time in the room, you may want to consider a room with more space to chill. The beds were comfortable, but they seemed small for a queen. We have a queen size bed at home, and we never felt as cramped as we were. We ended up each taking a bed so we had a little more room. The little patio space was nice to have in the morning. We could sit outside and enjoy a cup of coffee before taking off for the day. We also sat out a little in the evening before calling it a night. The patio space has a nice view of the pool. The pool wasn't that bad. However we didn't get to spend time there as we were on the beach most of the time. The breakfast was very good. They have a variety of the main items--different eggs, sausage and potatoes. The mixed fruit was very good. They also have cold cereal, waffles, bagles and toast. Coffee and tea were available 24 hours a day. The hotel is close to the trolley that runs to the beach. It runs a couple times an hour and is very cheap. We paid $1.00 each way for the 2 of us. If you're driving, this is way cheaper as parking is expensive and at a premium in the beach area. The only drawback we found with the location is the lack of places to eat. There's a couple of restaurants nearby, however they close at 8pm. When we checked in it was after 8 so that meant eating at Taco Bell, which is right across the street. Walmart is also within walking distance to get snacks or the beverage of your choice. If you're thinking about staying in Fort Myers Beach, you won't go wrong staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites.

Not far from the beach itself. Clean rooms and helpful staff. Dog friendly rooms. Close to shuttle bus station for the beach which cost 35 cents. There is a laundry nearby and the beach itself is not far. Reasonable rates and plenty of parking.

Clean and comfortable
We've stayed here several times and have always had a pleasant stay. The hotel is clean, the rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast buffet is the usual fare, waffles, eggs, yogurt, toast, bagels, etc. We requested a late check out, but were refused. That's my only complaint. Pool area is nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Not a bad location, although not much within walking distance.

Stayed here weekly for work in February. The last week there they never made my room up ever... even though I was there 4 nights it should have been made up once. Just how lazy can your staff be.
