    Rude breakfast staff

    I stay at Hampton Inn locations frequently, but this Miami hotel had the worst breakfast experience I’ve ever had. The kitchen lady was extremely rude and focused on policing guests instead of providing service. She yelled at my kids for using tongs to take potatoes and showed clear impatience with other guests, including someone holding a baby who needed help with the waffle machine. Basic items like fruit were missing for hours, likely because the staff member was busy monitoring guests rather than preparing food. Hampton Inn is usually known for friendly service, but this employee should not be in a customer-facing role without proper training. I would not recommend this location.

    Great for what we needed

    I stayed here while my son attended a sailing clinic. It was conveniently located and clean. The staff were courteous and helpful. I did not have any issues during my stay and would stay again if we come back for another clinic.

    Ok, but…

    I don’t care how much the star category is, I should NEVER experience roaches in a Hilton hotel, but unfortunately, this is the second Hilton that I’ve stayed, which I experienced a roach in my room and I have been traveling for a year. The customer service and front desk were very accommodating, during that experience, but I also never received the services my room was supposed to get on day 3 and I was a 5 day guest. One of the kitchen staff ladies was a bit rude and aggressive, and the ice machine needs cleaning (on 2 instances there were particles left at the bottom of my bucket once the ice melted. Pretty disgusting). It seemed like housekeeping and maintenance were always cleaning and fixing the rooms next to me. A little uncomfortable when entering and exiting my room. Parking is $22 a day, although you aren’t in a garage, which is pretty ridiculous, but it’s business. Overall, it was an ok stay…

    A Memorable Weekend in Miami

    Having gone to Miami for a "Celebration of Life" for a lifelong friend of mine, the weekend was a trip I willl always remember. Memorable to that weekend were two of your employees who made us feel truly welcome to your hotel. Seeing them at the front desk made check in and departure pleasant: Shanice & Tiffany. Their congeniality and professionalism were first rate. The Hampton Inn was clean everywhere I looked, your staff, from the cleaning people to the breakfast staff didn't 'sit around', everyone worked in a professional way. The breakfast was very good for a 'free breakfast', no reason to go anywhere else. All in all, a positive experience, reasonably priced for the services received, the room was clean as well as the shower and bathroom. If I had a reason to go back to Miami, I would go here. I will be inclined to use Hampton Inn's in my future travels. Bill from New Jersey
