- Beach †Wide hard packed sands await our guests. The "Worlds Most Famous Beach" noted for its wide hard packed sand that was host to many world land speed records. Speeds upwards of 400 MPH were achieved on our famous beaches prior to the opening the "World Center of Racing". Tide permits driving year round on certain regulated areas. Soft sand areas are just above high tide line and are a delight to children and are protected from vehicle traffic and provide nesting areas for endangered sea turtles. Volusia County Beach Patrol provides beach regulation.

Can we say outstanding hotel? Location was great, north of all the tourist traps area. Great beach location, felt safe. Heated pool was wonderful in December. Cute tiki bar by pool. My spacious king corner room was fabulous. Balcony with a good view of ocean and sunrise as well as street. King bed was clean and comfortable. Spotless roomy bathroom! Very good choices at breakfast. I have no complaints and can't wait to return and stay longer. Perfect spot the first of December! Lovely Christmas decor and music.

Call this a Hampton Resort with all the amazing amenities and fun. Check in is swift and look at the information screen in the lobby for special events. The Tiki Bar Longboards is gnarly(our bartender fit the longboards name in spirit and personality!) with good food and drinks right on the beach. There is also a longboard table on the sun deck! cute. The pool has a waterfall, plenty of chairs, tables, pool towels and is cleaned daily right after sunrise. Easy stairway to get onto the beach that is not by the pool so there's not sand all over the deck. The property is beautifully landscaped and parking seems plentiful and was really clean. We saw a movie on Wednesday night set up at the pool. Although we watched it from our balcony, it was an Amazing event worthy of a resort. The complimentary breakfast is standard but well stocked. Waffles, oatmeal, eggs, a meat everyday. And very pleasant staff. The rooms and balcony(2 chairs and table) are clean and freshly painted, stocked with a Keurig coffee maker and condiments holder; desk and chair. But that is the only chair in the room. There are only 2 small drawers and a long shallow additional drawer. So very little storage for a longer stay. The bathroom has good storage, though, with wonderful Hilton amenities on the wall. Finally:Sunrises are always incredible over the ocean.

Near perfect hotel on the beach
This hotel is near perfect. We stayed in room 606 ocean view I’ll start with the most important things first: 1) beds are comfortable. Pillow top, soft, but not too soft 2) hotel is clean inside and out. Room had a few cosmetic issues, but didn’t affect us 3) shower had pretty good water pressure. Adjustable head is always appreciated 4) ocean view room…. Just do it!!!! It was amazing. We slept with sliding glass doors open. Fell asleep to sounds of the waves 5) tiki bar outside by pool was great. Watched football, had a few cocktails and chicken nachos while ocean waves crashed right next to us. 6) the pool was sooo warm and clean. We swam in 65 degree weather. Pool felt 90 7) free breakfast - your standard chain hotel offering. It’s not bad for free 8) I appreciate the safe in the room and the bathroom fan. Hotels never have a fan 9) all employees were so nice and went above and beyond 10) price was very cheap for all we got The only real complaint I have is that the shower doesn’t have a hand held to rinse off all the nooks and crannies. But that’s my only complaint We are already planning to return next year

Great vacation stay
Great service and friendly staff especially Tony who greeted us each morning with a smile. The tiki bar, Longboards, is a fantastic addition to the pool area.

During my recent stay at the Hampton Inn Daytona Beachfront, I was disappointed by several aspects of the experience. Upon arrival at approximately 8:30 p.m., there was no staff member present at the front desk to assist with check-in. After waiting for five minutes without any assistance, I ultimately completed the process through the Hilton app. While the mobile check-in was relatively simple, the lack of staff presence at the front desk was concerning and unwelcoming. Additionally, I was not informed of the $15 parking fee at any point prior to or during check-in. Although I noticed that most vehicles displayed parking passes, there was no signage or staff available to explain the procedure or the associated charge. This lack of communication created unnecessary confusion. Most notably, around 2 a.m., an issue arose with the toilet in our room nearly overflowing. When I contacted the front desk for assistance, I was told they were unsure whether a plunger was even available, and that I would need to come down to the lobby to retrieve one myself. At that hour, we were handed an unsanitary plunger placed inside a large bucket and were left to resolve the issue on our own. This was both highly inconvenient and disappointing, especially given the expectation of basic hospitality and assistance. Overall, my stay did not meet the standard of service and hospitality I typically associate with Hilton properties. I left feeling dissatisfied with the overall experience.
