A practical hotel done pretty well without frills. Location is a selling point as the hotel is just a few minutes from the Waterloo station and the Thames with a nice view. The rooms are comfortably basic, it is a large chain, but no complaints. The breakfast buffet was a bit of a scrum, lots of people and the staff a bit behind the curve. Otherwise service was fine.

A solid 3 star hotel. Warm welcome from the staff. Bar staff friendly too one helped me select some wines by the glass. Next time I will try the cocktails. Message received from Umisha shortly after checkin asking if our room was ok. Nice touch. Twin room clean and little noise from the ambulance station we overlooked. Shower pressure adequate, eco-shampoo and shower gels. Beware the shower floor is slippery.. Lovely big new white towels. Mattress initially a bit hard but I got a good nights sleep. Room and public areas very clean. Some slight negatives.. Ice. Machine in corridor did not work. Breakfast although “free” was just ok. Coffee was awful. No mini fridge in room or bathrobes. At the price point I would have expected there. No biscuits on the tea tray! I paid £300 for the night and would rather have paid £250 and skipped breakfast. That said, I would stay there again. Currently waiting for my £30 deposit to be refunded. Although I note a separate charge for the wine has appeared.

Great choice for London
Great choice for a hotel around Waterloo. This hotel has excellent facilities and location. Very short walk to Westminster and great if travelling from Waterloo station. The breakfast is very good too . Would not recommend a premium room unless you will need a fridge . Have stayed before and definitely think is a great choice for a London hotel .

Theatre weekend
We stayed here the night of 22/11/25. We came up to London to see the Lion King & decided to make a weekend of it. We had three adults in one room, everyone had a good night sleep. Staff were polite & helpful, breakfast had good options & the hotel was overall quiet. The hotel is well positioned for theatre district, and 10 mins walk from Waterloo underground station. This is the second time we have stayed here & have been happy with our stay.

stayed here with my daughter 15th& 16th November 2025 hotel is spotless clean staff are lovely a lovely girl checked us in and staff at breakfast were pleasant and helpful breakfast was excellent great choice of food hotel is 5min walk from Waterloo station in a well lit up area would highly recommend this hotel this is my 2nd stay in a Hampton by hilton I stayed in one in krakow in August will definitely be booking another one on my next holiday
