    Outstanding London Stay

    From the friendly helpful reception staff to the outstanding room and breakfast, this is a great place to stay, just an 8 minute walk from Waterloo Station. The room we had has recently been updated. Whoever designed this should be applauded. It’s one of the best updates I’ve seen anywhere. Beautiful walk in shower, lovely fittings throughout. Comfortable bed and very airy. Everything you would expect in the room is there and more. The breakfast caters for every taste and has been well thought through. The whole hotel is spotless and smells lovely, even outside! Thank you for making our trip to London extra special!

    Not as good as other H10 hotels

    We travel extensively and stay at H10 hotels regularly. We always love that you are greeted with a warm welcome, smile and glass of something refreshing when if your room is not quite ready. Sadly not here. We arrived at 2pm, our room was not ready until 3pm. This was the check in time so we understood. We asked for a welcome drink, we were told that we could go to the bar and purchase one. We were unable to have our welcome drink until we had our room key. We went to the sky bar and purchased a drink and some nibbles. 30 minutes later we returned to reception to ask if our room was ready. It was. We were then offered a welcome drink and provided with our members drink vouchers. Reception staff were told that this hotel is not as good as other H10 hotels as its not an all inclusive hotel. We have stayed in lots of H10 hotels all over Europe and even when your room isn't ready, you are provided with a welcome drink, drinks voucher and warm welcome. We were also greeted with maintenance work. There was no signs and no email warning us of the building working taking place in the lobby.

    Lovely hotel but couple of issues/improvements

    Lovely hotel, so glad I found it! Had a lovely stay with my mum in a classic superior double room. Pros: Modern room Clean Great location - close to tube stations for so many routes Mirrors - full length in bedroom, light up mirror in bathroom and magnified mirror in bathroom Friendly staff - reception staff always welcoming when leaving and returning, staff at breakfast and even when in the lifts with staff asking how our stay is going All amenities in the room you could think of - extra pillows, blanket, shoe horn, iron, umbrella and bathroom kits such as dental floss etc Large and tasty breakfast variety When I did report a couple of issues, they were rectified so quickly Good rates when booking direct with hotel Cons/minor issues: Bathroom sliding door not staying closed but did get fixed quickly AC error message appearing during the night but also fixed quickly Room not serviced until 3pm which on 2 days of our stay we were back at the room freshening up to go back out later on to abba voyage and starlight express which were a bit further away so one day we asked for it not to be cleaned/serviced due to getting ready to go out in the evening One day toilet paper was not replenished so then had to ask for some the next day Mugs in the room for hot drinks were not cleaned after use and left dirty When the room was cleaned one day, they must have bleached around the sink and my mums face cloth flannel that was kept beside the sink has bleach marks on Hot chocolate sachets not replenished (these were the only drinks we made in the room) Breakfast items were slow at getting replenished both during weekdays and weekend dates Reception unable to help with reservations - I booked online for 3 nights then I wanted to extend for another night to total 4 nights so had to speak with reservations team and they assured me I could stay in the same room. I received an email to do online check in at the weekend before I went and it only had 3 nights on not 4. When I called they said they couldn’t help and had to be reservations, I asked if they could check if my 4th night was in the system as I had paid for it and they eventually found it but couldn’t confirm I was in the same room or not despite me confirming with reservations when booking we would be ok to stay in the same room which caused me a lot of stress and anxiety before our stay but did manage to confirm when the reservations team were back in on Monday Just a few little minor issues but overall we were happy with our room and our stay! :)

    10/10 Hotel 5 minutes from Waterloo

    Absolutely fantastic hotel stay for my fiancé’s birthday. We arrived 3h pre arrival and staff were very accommodating, did the check in paperwork and took our bags early (room not available as expectee). When we checked in, late at night post theatre, staff were exceedingly friendly, from desk staff to the super friendly chap sorting bags. The room was immaculate, with a huge bed (not sure if we were upgraded for free) and a fantastic bathroom with gorgeous seventh floor views. We signed up to the H10 club beforehand and loved the free cocktail on the stunning roof terrace bar. Breakfast also far exceeded our expectations with huge choice of hot and cold food in a lovely first floor restaurant. Positioned only a few minutes from Waterloo, I would highly recommend this hotel for anybody for a London trip. It was only a half an hour walk to all the theatres and a stones throw from the south bank. Fantastic value for money, location, great room and standout customer service make this a 10/10, and we will absolutely be staying again for our next visit to London.
