Brilliant hotel and perfect location close to Waterloo station.
This is a wonderful hotel with such friendly and professional staff who seemed genuinely interested in us and our visit. They catered for our needs in such a friendly manner. Valentina especially deserves a mention as she went the extra mile to ensure we had a lovely stay to celebrate my 70th birthday.

Loved it! We will be back!
My daughter and I recently stayed for 9 nights and it was perfect! We were greeted with champagne upon check-in and the hospitality continued through-out our stay. The room was lovely, a little smaller than we are used to but it had everything we needed and very comfortable beds, wonderful towels! Breakfast was amazing and even being there 9 days, there was so much to choose from that we did not get bored. Felipe, the host at breakfast, made it even more enjoyable and we felt like old friends by the end of our stay. We had a drink at the bar one night and the bartender recommended fun places in the neighborhood that we would never have found as tourists. I would love to give him a shout out by name but do not recall. He was a grad student from India studying in London. We found the location of the hotel perfect. A bit out of the crowds but an easy 20 minute walk to Borough Market and other sites. When we didn't walk we opted to take the bus rather than underground as it stopped close to the hotel and we were able to get anywhere easily and see the area along the way. It was so nice to come back at the end of each busy day to the beautiful festive decorations of the lobby and seating area. We can't wait to stay again!

Above average but some room for improvement!
Staff were very welcoming and helpful when needed. Our room, although smaller than expected had everything we could need and our bed was really comfortable. The roof top bar was lovely to enjoy a drink whilst taking in the view. Our breakfast was plentiful but could have been warmer and even though we were on floor 8 we did experience a fair amount of noise. An ambulance depot down the street had regular sirens going past which can’t be helped but there was also work being carried out that meant regular drilling and banging noises throughout the day which wasn’t good when I experienced a migraine on our first day. I didn’t complain about this at the time to my regret. Also quite disappointed that although we had paid for a city view room, this amounted to a small window with very limited views. The location was ok with approximately 10 minute walk to the nearest tube but not as nice as some of the other locations I have stayed in at London before.

Nice hotel but spoilt by noise
Hotel was nicely located, and looked smart on entry. Staff were friendly, our room wasn’t ready so received a complementary drink on arrival. The sky bar was a nice visit, and worth a drink on an evening if you’re staying here. The room itself (1005) was small but clean and had all toiletries, tea/coffee etc. The biggest issue however was with the noise. The room above was being renovated which we had not been informed of - it started at 8am each morning therefore any sort of lie in after a late night was a no go. Add to that I hadn’t been feeling too well one day so a later start would have been much appreciated. Mentioned to staff on booking out but didn’t seem too concerned.
