    Highly Recommended.

This is a difficult Review to compile, because it's a long way from being the cheapest and it's not the best All Inclusive we've stayed at, by far, but I think you need to view the Grotto Bay from the perspective of being in Bermuda. The cost of living there is extremely high, even when comparing it with the UK and the price of the hotel probably reflects that. BUT, I would advise visiting Bermuda for 10/11 nights and I would most certainly recommending staying at the Grotto Bay when you do so. It has so many benefits. I would strongly advise taking out the All Inclusive package, otherwise it will be very expensive and you won't enjoy your stay. Why stay here? The staff are ALL wonderful, lovely people, from the Manager Rob downwards. The food is fantastic. We are veg/pescatarian and we found more than enough variety to satisfy us for 10 nights. The packed lunches, ordered the evening before, are brilliant and will save you a fortune in buying food out. The AI package includes public transport use on both the buses and ferries, giving you a free run of the Island's excellent Public Transport system. It also includes a catering Service Charge and although we did leave/give tips at the end of our holiday, you haven't got that constant guilt feeling that you don't have cash and are not continuously handing out every five minutes. The location is great and the non motorised water-sports are included. So, yes I would highly recommend a stay at the Grotto Bay. Please feel free to contact me directly, if you have any questions about the hotel, or Island.

Fantastic stay again! And a big thank you to manager Rob de Bekker and his staff!

What can I say about Grotto Bay - well our second visit should say it all. We first stayed at this lovely resort in 2019 and then in December this year. Firstly the manager Rob de Becker is absolutely hands on and so concerned with every little details to make guests stay memorable - absolutely a brilliant and dedicated general manager and has a fantastic staff. Thank you so very much Rob! we cannot say enough about you and your warmth and ensuring every guest is happy, taking care of everything. We remembered staff from 2 1/2 years ago - so that was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone - from Karen in Housekeeping, to Mathew and the lovely lady who greeted us each time in the restaurant, plus their wonderful staff of course, to our great barmen - Dwayne and Victor and Tye. Not to mention the lovely Sonya who helped us so much (again) prior to our stay and Tara! - both such lovely and welcoming ladies. Of course a big mention John as well on reception and the bellmen! . So many people to thank for making our Christmas (and my husband's birthday Christmas Day) a wonderful occasion. It is nice when you are staying at a hotel/resort when they gree you "Good morning Mr & Mrs ........" - ie they care. Would definitely recommend.

    Gratto Bay- Book it Now

The resort was very nice but unfortunately the pool bar was closed. Casmine, Bruno, & Little T we’re all so very awesome. It was so close to the airport. The pool was heated and they had a hot tub. The Sunday brunch was awesome. The rooms had a beautiful view of the ocean. The cave spa was nice & relaxing.

    Great manager

Rob the manager was a hands on leader. We often saw him picking up towels etc as he walked the property to talk with guests. We miss this type of treatment at the big chains where the managers hide to avoid dealing with issues until too late

Great spot, amazing food, will definitely return!

What can I say; we absolutely LOVED it here. Normally we would only go to an adults only resort; however, we took a chance on this one and we are so glad we did! The beach is amazing, the pool is great, the grotto is extremely cold but so refreshing. There’s a little spot (inlet?) beside the beach where a lot of fish swim and you can feed them. So cool! I can’t explain how blue the water is but it’s really just breathtakingly beautiful. Food is to die for. We were there two weeks and I did gain over 5lbs but not sad about it😉 Make sure to do the All Inclusive, it is very much worth it! Staff, especially our guy, Livue (not sure if spelled right) was AMAAAZZZING. Bar servers were wonderful and totally remembered our drink order, which with all the people ordering, is totally impressive! Stayed in the 100 block, the Hamilton building right beside the beach which I highly recommend. We are hoping to return again in May/June 2023!
