I am here for a week and giving you my daily food review. Ate at Frida tonight. Fantastic! Carlos had it all under control. Had the grilled cauliflower. Really good. But the big winner was the filet and chorizo tacos. May have to say the best tacos ever. The filet was perfectly cooked with the combination of the tasty sausage and broiled cheese. It’s hard to beat. Asked Carlos for tequila that complimented the food and it was a great meal. Great night one!!!

Quiet luxury
The service was amazing! We did not have to lift a finger all week while we enjoyed delicious food and drinks. The landscaping and scenery was absolutely prestine and well kept. Gilberto with the entertainment team made our trip fun and engaging!

March 2025 with teens . First time visitors
Just returned from a magical stay at Grand Velas with my 2 teen girls. Arrival we were greeted with a nice welcome drink, hot refresher towels, and neck massage. and our concierge Dulce. Our room was beautiful and we received the two queen beds we requested. I spend more than 100 nights a year at Marriott properties and the beds at Grand Velas were so comfortable that I asked how to purchase one.(Front desk did not know) Our Concierge had booked our restaurants a week before we arrived, we did make changes for times during our stay and they were all granted. We spent most of our days at the beach with the most amazing service and staff. The waves are so amazing. Not dangerous at all but perfect for water sports. Carlos, thank you for assisting us with boogie boarding (a big hit with my teens), Gabriel, Edvard, Miguel and many more so always there to serve us with a smile. We dined at Frida, Sin Lin, Azul, and Piaf. My girls had no interest in Piaf menu but tried a few things. Sin Lin, Frida, and room service were big hits with them. I have to say this is the best service and food we have experienced at an AI resort. We loved the beach for wading and boogie boarding. We even saw whales from the beach. Negatives- There always seemed to be one elevator out of service and coffee shop was under renovation most of the time. Positives- Food and service is outstanding the sunsets are stunning beach is perfect macaroons everyday served poolside and beachside at 4pm( my daughters favorite thing about the resort) room service is top notch and will deliver bottles of wine The shows are OK but did have fun in the Koi club later in the evenings. Overall I would go back in a heartbeat and recommend this resort to anyone looking for amazing service and food, relaxation and even some nightlife.

5 Star Hotel for sure!
World class hotel! Best ocean views and staff! Carlos our entertainment guy was amazing! He took us for kayaking and played beach volleyball… always had a smile on his face! I must say the welcome massage in the lobby when we arrived was the best surprise and so good! Great way to start your stay!

This resort deserves more than five stars!
The Grand Velas Riveria Nayarit is by far one of the best resorts we have visited. This was our third time staying here and it gets better each time. From the hotel, to the pool, to the food, everything is amazing. What puts this resort over the top is the staff. Our personal concierge Ramon has worked with our family on every trip since the first and provides everything we could possibly need. From reservations, to activity information, to changes we require he is always there and available. At the pool, pool concierges Raymundo and Eduardo, along with pool captain Jose were there to help us find a spot for the entire family and if one was not available they would make us one. They were also always around to move umbrellas and keep us in the shade. The bar service at the pool was also fantastic. We had Gabriel and Miguel for most of the week and they were always around to make sure our drinks stayed full and also provided drink recommendations and explanations for new things they suggested we try. The service at all of the restaurants is unbelievable. At Azul, Ricardo and Pablo were amazing. They stayed attentive and provided extras such as fruit plates or over the top sundae's for the kids. At the restaurants we had Carlos at Lucca, Francisco at Piaf and Carlos at Frida. Not only did the provide amazing friendly service, but the also provided recommendations for food and drinks. As mentioned, this is our third time visiting this resort and we are already planning our next visit.
