    The best resort on the Mayan Rivera.

    Top resort in the world, perhaps. Top on the Mayan Rivera for sure. The resort and staff are designed to have you want for nothing. Great food and drink from various location restaurants and bars. It’s top shelf cost, but nothing else compares. Again, the staff (like our concierge Nora) at the “Grand Class” section, as other sections, were great.

    Excellent !

    I stayed at the Grand Velas for a few days and I did not want to leave! The place is clean, quiet, with first quality items in the room and marvelous service ! The food at the buffet is not the best one (that you expect for the price ) but the other restaurants are amazing! You feel the chef is just cooking for you. The details of the dishes is outstanding. The pools are clean, with great views to the beach. The drinks are gorgeous. Melissa was our personal consultant. She is the best.

    After 3 trips, still love this place

    Service was superb. Our concierge Luis surprised my fiance with an in-room birthday celebration featuring chocolates, champaign, and baloons. All 5 restaurants are excellent. The all-inclusive includes boogie boards, and the surf is perfect, 3-5 foot waves, warm water, and especially Carlos, the beach attendant, really a perfect vacation.

    Absolutely fabulous!

    What a way to kick off the year! Attended a business conference that was held at the resort, which is absolutely fabulous. The service offered by all the staff was truly world class. In fact, Grand Velas Resorts are, quite simply, in a class of their own. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

    Amazing 5 star resort

    This resort is the most beautiful reaper I’ve ever been too. The rooms are huge and decorated so nicely. The staff is so friendly and dedicated to providing a 5 star experience. We went to the pool on the adult only side and Marco and Luz were always there making our time the best it could be. They were so thoughtful and eve started saving my favorite flavor of paleta for me to have every afternoon. I was there with work and the staff were sometimes working their regular day job and then working at our large group catered events at night. They deserve all the praise for their hard work. The food at the restaurants and the catered food at our group dinners was second to none.
