We had the most amazing luxury all inclusive vacation with Angel as our concierge for our family of 5. We have stayed at many all inclusives, but this one takes the cake when it comes to care given to young children, food at the restaurants, the spa circuit, as well as poolside and beach service. We have never had such an attentive concierge as Angel. Furthermore, Susi and Victoria babysat our 3 kids (ages 1.5, 4, 6) so we could have adult time and that truly made the trip unforgettable. It’s not easy to take care of 3 littles and they made it look easy, our kids loved them. Thank you all for a wonderful vacation!

Grand Velas 10/10
The Grand Velas has it all figured out. It is perfect for families with so many activities through the day for kids, great food and exceptional service. The staff are incredible. They make anything and everything happen for the families. Carolina was our concierge and she made the experience. My kids adored her. She went out of her way to think of every detail and make sure we were taken care of, from surprise balloons in our room to changing our dinner reservations when we requested to making sure we were leaving enough time to get to the airport for our departure. Nicolas was also amazing and spent time in the teens club with my kids and providing explanations about the local animals we saw around the property. Love it there.

We are here now. The hotel is lovely and the staff is great. However, the hotel is ill equipped to accommodate the busy week. By 7 am, all of the chairs at the pool are taken. People get up at 5 am and leave a shoe, a bottle of sunscreen, etc. it is hardly a vacation when you have to get out to the pool by 6-630 am to get a chair. The evening restaurant reservations are a nightmare. Almost 4 weeks before we arrived, we were told o make reservations and by that point, the only time we could get for several nights was either 5 pm or 830. Both options terrible. We were not even picky about restaurant choices. Just wanted a 7/730 dinner. We were told we could probably change it when we arrived but have not been able to. These two issues have made our relaxing vacation leas than relaxing.

Impressed by the service
This was our second time staying at the Grand Velas and I have to say that we were very pleasantly surprised at the noticeable optic in-service that we received. Everyone was very attentive and greeted us with a smile and with courteous hospitality. It really made a huge difference in providing us with a comfortable stay that was well worth the expense. We were also very pleased with all that the hotel had to offer for our kids. There was always plenty to do. The kids club was expansive and well staffed and the food offering was impressive. Our private concierge, Raul, also did a great job tending to our needs.

Our family just returned from an incredible stay at Grand Velas Riviera Maya, and it was truly the best vacation we’ve ever had. The resort is absolutely stunning, perfectly blending a lush jungle atmosphere with a pristine beach. The ambiance is pure paradise, but what sets this place apart is the service. We want to give a special shout-out to our concierge team, Braulio Lopez and Alexa. Their attentiveness and warm, friendly energy made us feel so well cared for. They went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our stay was seamless. The food is easily the best we’ve experienced at any resort—every meal was a gourmet experience. Pair that with a huge variety of activities for both kids and adults, and you have the perfect getaway.
