We just returned from an unforgettable stay at Grand Velas Riviera Maya. This was our second stay at this resort - and everything was flawless. The resort is absolutely as beautiful as we remembered it. Every meal was amazing and the gluten free options were everywhere! What really makes Grand Velas stand out is the staff. Everyone we encountered was amazing, but here are a few highlights of the amazing people: The first the days at the pool, Ruben and Humberto were amazing. They took care of us and set the tone for the entire stay. After that we had Michael, Miguel and Alberto taking care of us. The service was exceptional! They always had a drink ready, gluten free snacks and a smile! At the swim up bar, Jesus made the best cocktails At Azul, Gabriella was amazing and took care of all of us, always making sure our daughter had what she needed and remember her orders from one day to the next! And, last but certainly not least are our amazing concierges, Nora, Alfonso and Adrian. Their attention to detail, genuine kindness and attention to detail brought our stay to another level. If you are at all considering the resort - GO! Highly recommend

Traveled with 22 members of my family ranging in age from 80 years old to 6. We had a wonderful time and our concierge team, Daniel, Antonio, Gilberto & Alejandro helped to ensure everyone’s needs were met. Highly recommend.

Great Family Vacation
We would rate our experience a 10 out of 10. The accommodations and food were great and the staff was so friendly. In particular our Conceirge Carolina Collado made our trip really special.

Great stay
Jorge, Daniel, Luz, Domingo and Eduardo at the adult pool could not have made our stay better. They were professional, doting and greeted us daily with a smile. They made our trip amazing! The concierge team of Gilberto, Daniel, Antonio, and Alejandro were top notch. Knowledgeable and helpful all the time. We highly recommend Grand Velas and their fabulous team

Amazing family (teens) holiday experience
Amazing trip. Wonderful service. Especially Raul (concierge). Went above and beyond to get us what we needed for an excursion and our daughter's favorite drink. He was wonderful. Julio taught a fantastic mocktail class (family friendly too) and was so kind to make it for us each night. Fantastic restaurant choices especially for those who love great dining. Fat beyond what you get at a normal all inclusive. Rave reviews you read are on point for what you get. From Michelin-Star to Asian to Mayan to Mexican. Amazing flavors and creativity. Something different to enjoy every night. Lots of property to explore with three in one with a lot of activities to choose during the day. Great for families esp at the holidays. Spa is absolutely incredible. The multi-step water experience is next level and the Mayan rituals incorporated into services like a massage are so deeply meaningful. Nights are pretty quiet which is great for some but might want to book a show in town if wanting more to do after dinner.
