Very bad experience. The room was not clean, dirty cup stains on the cupboard. Elevators very dirty, the carpet was not vacuumed for the 2 days we were there. There was a sewer smell when we sat at pool, later we noticed a gutter that had sitting water in it, that could’ve been the smell. The beach wasn’t nice in front of the hotel, but rocks on either side so you could not walk other than in front of hotel. The sun does not hit the pool area until about noon. We moved resorts after 2 days here.

Jan 19, 2026First Stay at Royal Holiday Resort
The Grand Park Royal resort exceeded our expectations. We had read some of the negative comments on sites since this was our first visit here, and found them all to be unfounded. The staff was excellent, the accommodations were clean, comfortable, with great views of the beach and especially whales early in the morning! The food was good, and we spent most of our meals at the breakfast buffet, El Pescador for lunch, and Andiamo for dinner. We did go to the mexican restaurant and had hotdogs/hamburgers as well by the pool. We will be returning to this resort on future vacations!

Personnel needs to be more attentive with guests no hit water no towels and the membership people very annoying and a person named Mariana from the memberships made us feel very uncomfortable as she said we only made her waste her time

Okay overall
Elevator broke down on our last day. I had to carry our luggage upstairs. Staff didn't appear to be bothered. Checking out was chaotic and mixed up.
