So loud. If you're looking for relaxation I'd look elsewhere. They have daily pool activities with loud music and a host blowing a gym class whistle. At nights they play music until very late. It is on a beautiful beach, but the tranquility of laying on a tropical beach is destroyed daily. Not relaxing

My husband and I had an excellent experience here at the grand I’m not sure why some people have such negative comments but that was not our experience. Our room on the 4th floor was big and the beds were comfy. Housekeeping cleaned our rooms daily and did a wonderful job. I love that our hotel “bracelet” was our room key. That was so nice! The food was great, we always went to El Pescador for breakfast, just request an omelette and a side of bacon if that’s your preference instead of the buffet. The seafood options for lunch were amazing from the menu and the ceviche was so good at their buffet table. For supper we visited bothe Mexican and the Italian. They both had great food but we especially liked the salad bar at the Italian. My husband has to eat gluten free and they had lots of options for him on the menu. The pools were busy as were the lounge chairs but there was staff monitoring whether the chairs were being used. After an hour or so if you were a no show, they would put your chair items in a bag at lost and found and the loungers became available for others. We never used the exclusive club , didn’t want to pay the extra 800 pesos per day. Drinks were great and plentiful. Try a mezcal margarita at the lobby bar!! I would recommend this resort to my friends.

Wonderful
All this days was very fun and the service was excellent. Different activities every day! Smith is a wonderful person and excellent in his activities 🙏😘

The place is okay. I thought some of the public areas were dirty/rundown. The room, itself, was okay - I wished it would have been cleaner and less run down.

Great time in Puerta Vallarta
Had a wonderful time at the Grand Park Royal Hotel in Puerta Vallarta. It was my first time there. Everyone was helpful , friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed all the entertainment and fun times.
