Lots of pool time and snorkeling helped make this a relaxing experience! The food was also a bonus as there was some authentic Mexican dishes to try. Food we don't get at home.

Third time visiting
Third time at this resort as we love the proximity to town. Typical complaints from fellow guests about the food in the buffet being cold. Can't believe they still haven't addressed this issue. Huge shout-out to my favourite bartender Cosme, at the Bikini Bar. Great guy and service. One day at the pool by the ocean, they actually played some party music that everyone knew, and not just the Latin tunes that the majority don't know, and it was a lot of fun. They should do that more often. All in all, another great stay.

RPG The Royal Treatment
Pros: Room: Superior Ocean View King Double Room was A Superior Room. Room Number 2019 is Best in the Hotel on Top Floor with Panoramic Views of Ocean and Majestic Cruise Ships docked at the International Cruise Port. Tip: Rooms below 5th Floor cannot see the ocean but can see beautiful lush gardens and palms. Food: Really Good Breakfast, Seafood Restaurant on the beach open 1pm-4pm serves Clams Chowder, Fish of the Day, Giant Grilled Shrimp, Fish or Shrimp Tacos. Dinner was great with a variety of great tasting foods. Temperatures of food sometimes cold. Italian Restaurant available by reservation was Not Good. Go into town for Real Italian Food @ GUIDOS Italian Restaurant or Woodys Bar on the Town Square. Entertainment was very nice and lots of scheduled activities throughout the day. Con’s: Swimming Pools not kept clean. Always with leaves and sand. Hot Tub Did Not Work and was dirty, dingy and not maintained. Really Disappointing as Hot Tub was primary draw for staying at the hotel. Overall a Beautiful Hotel Resort with lots of Palm Trees and Waterfalls. Highly Recommend and Will be Coming Back.

Overall this was a nice/average hotel. Food was as to be expected though the options for room service were very minimal after breakfast hours and only being allowed to order 1x per day was frustrating since what we received wasn't exactly what we expected. I wouldn't consider the "mini bar" in the room a bar, it contained 2 beers and soda options. If you are looking for a party atmosphere, this isn't the stay for you. We did like the hours of service for meals and bars. Pools were a bit cold, and adult pool had no music which we found strange. The adult pool area was more of an old crowd vibe than general adult vacation vibe.
