We stayed here Mod to end of January, Overall we had a decent time even though the weather was not ideal with red flag beach days pretty much the whole week. Check in was ok but not well organized, room was not quite ready yet but they directed us to the buffet and by the time we returned to the desk the room was ready, no real instructions though in the layout of the resort or how to get to the room just pointed in the general direction, the “concierge staff” was more helpful though but they are really just the time share sales people, they were helpful, not too pushy and were not too aggressive trying to get us into the presentation after we said we were not interested. The room was a decent size and everything worked well, only issue was we had an end of the hall room along the road and with the weather ..water did leak through the window one night and flood the floor slightly, we looked after it ourselves with towels but the room across the hall from us was relocated somewhere else at around 11:30 at night. Food was overall decent, only issue is they had a decent amount of shellfish dishes and they would spread out among the different stations making choices very limited for someone with allergies due to the cross contamination , the chefs would accommodate but it would make more sense to keep all those dishes together in one buffet section to better manage the risk for cross contamination. We did not try any of the specialty restaurants, you have to line ip and we like to eat on the earlier side of the evening. No issues getting drinks , line ups at the bars were never a big issue usually got what we wanted fairly quickly, Beach was ok not a big area and with the weather we never actually made it into the water. One downside is the beach grill area has very little actual seating space for you sit and eat your hotdog/burgers or nachos. There was only about 4 small tables for the relatively big area in front of it . The cobblestone pathways we were not a fan of, they are u even and when it rains there are big puddles everywhere because they just don’t drain the water away. Seating near the bottom lobby bar is not enough for the size of the resort we would just go back to the room more the. Once to drink our drinks because there was no place to sit. We liked the location close to some amenities outside the resort and also close enough to walk into town. We stopped and had food and bevies at aunts bar down the road a few times. The layout of the resort is ok it looks spread out but it really never took to long to go anywhere even from our room in building 2 all the way to the beach. The coffee cafe is stellar and the staff there were fantastic. We wouldn’t avoid this place in the future but we would probably look elsewhere for something different as there was nothing here that really stood out to draw us to return.

Grand Park Royal Cozumel = Relaxation
Always a pleasure to travel to a resort where you are welcomed and remembered by name! This is my 3rd trip and I brought 2 friends with me.... they enjoyed the snorkelling, we love the adult pool, and my room had a great view from the 8th floor! Love watching the cruise ships.... I'll be back again in the Fall!

Had a bit of an issue when first arrivng... broken chair on balcony... and nothing in the bar fridge (which was loud to the point we just unplugged it at night to sleep) but after two days, everything was fixed except for the loud fridge... nice resort, layout was like a Mayan jungle theme... clean.. nice staff... good food... pools good with two infinity pools over looking the cruise ships dock... beach was small but good snorkeling.... great location but expensive in Cozumel for shopping... Definitely a solid 4 star... not recommended for anyone with accessible requirements

This was our 2nd time here. We love the generally quiet atmosphere. The buildings and grounds are kept exceptionally clean. The beds are super comfy. (I’d like to know the brand of sheets they use). The staff are very friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back again.

Our getaway to Cozumel!!
We loved that this was a slightly smaller hotel then most as you were able to mingle with people you meet easier. Food was decent most days, although no option for late night snacking unless you order room service, which wasn't always reliable. The sports bar closes at 12am not 2am as the website says....if you're a late night partier. It wasn't a huge deal to us as we were usually ready for bed! It's close to walk to local stores but we felt safe in taking a taxi if we wanted to go further in town. A lot of cruise ships coming and going which was great scenery, but also made things more expensive nearby. The weather we had was fantastic, and miss it already! We made some new friends which we will plan to see outside of our getaway! We had a great room with a partial view of the ocean, we moved to the building after asking if we could be switched to one with a king bed which we were able to change the next day. All and all an awesome trip as hubby and I celebrated turning 40! Definitely recommend!
