THEY ARE NOT 4.8 may be FAKE REVIEWS- PLEASE DO NOT GO IF YOU HAVE BEEN TO BETTER ALL INCLUSIVES
Dec 16 - 23 - WORST EVER ALL INCLUSIVE AND HERE IS WHY . I have been to many and got trapped due to 4.8 on GOOGLE HOSPITALITY - The WORST I have seen in Mexico. TRUST ME - THEY DONT CARE !!!!!!!!!! Concierge - SUPER COLD and most of the staff are like that except a few waiters and bar staff (I dont wanna call them bar tenders are there was no actual bar tending skill). The staff is trained NOT TO ENTERTAIN any complaints! Travel club desk - This is where they start buttering you since they want you to buy their non sense package which I will never even consider in my dreams. They made us attend the presentation since they had a 250 USD promotion where they gave us 2 swedish massages limited to 50mins and a dinner at their so called exotic Bravo restaurant ( which was nothing different then their regular joints with mediocre food quality and the same dancers performing at their nightly events) At checkout - I was asked to pay a minor additional amount saying that there was some difference that I need to pay and nobody did nothing about it when I complained to guest services No MANAGEMENT who cares - Remember, if something goes wrong somewhere, there is no Manager, no supervisors at Buffets or Ala cartes who will come and check with you if the food is good, if you are enjoying. At buffets, they don't refill the food in a short time and by the time you want to repeat the same item you probably finished your lunch or dinner. Guest services guy JULIOI (pronounced as Culio) - He is the Smartest guy they have who YES will LISTEN To you , and will promise you that he will do something about it and the Day NEVER CAME. Every time he said, I will speak to my Manager, I will send something to your room and nothing ever came. PHEW! NO RESERVATIONS AT RESTAURANTS - you know why? The Family club, The TRS Adults only with butlers get the privilege to book them before you can. I barely could book 3 of them and i found that the Mexican Ala Carte was HALF Empty. AS i said earlier, they DO NOT CARE about hospitality, they just care about MAXIMUM Money and are literally cutting corners. one of the most MISER Management I ever found in my past few trips to Mexico. FOOD QUALITY - EXACTLY DUPLICATE for Lunch and Dinner and breakfast exactly the same no matter which buffet you go to. Ala carte - Worst Mexican ever, they did not entertain to make any changes for e.g. replace beef with chicken ( a Big NO) Chicken - HARD AS A ROCK. They used only breast and probably the worst quality ever. Bamboo Asian - Very Average and people whom I met at resort called it TRASH!! Japanese - A little better than the other 2 if you have your Tepanyaki table SAFETY - Army of Racoons around the property jumping on your food tables. Too dark at night to walk around and barely CARTS available. You cannot contact the concierge or bell desk for carts from your rooms, just wait in those sheds (like bus stops) FOREVER as long as 30mins and if some carts shows up that might not even stop since they are either for TRS for their stupid Privileged clubs. Rooms - Only good thing was my ROOM!! Churchill bar - A bar located at Kantennah lobby where you might end up finding some good cocktails but only opens at 7. Christian the Lead bar tender was great. SUMMARY - DO NOT GO HERE as the MONEY IS NOT WORTH it. BAD FOOD, Pathetic Management, Pathetic services, super COLD Concierge and Front desk. WE NEVER FELT WELCOMED. I SAY THIS BCOZ - I have been to the DREAMS Chain of Resorts and Secrets (Adults only) and they are out of this world. BOYCOTT PALADDIUM RIGHT NOW! BY THE WAY - Please read the LOWEST reviews which I saw have exactly same experience like mine and these guest travelled either a week or 2 before us or around the same time. FEELINGS DONT LIE!

Great family trip!
Our family of 8 recently visited Grand Palladium White Sands December 13-20. The overall experience was exceptional. We booked a private transfer so we were the only people checking in when we arrived (but it was also 21:45). The lady that checked us in was very friendly and answered all our questions. We were driven to our building and our bags were delivered to our rooms. The villas do not have elevators so if you have mobility issues be sure you are on the first floor. The rooms are very spacious and clean. This resort is not new so there may be the odd paint chip or scratch. The washroom was very large and the showing had lots of pressure and hot water. The cleaning staff did a great job of making up the room except for one day that they didn't show up. Even though they didn't clean the room we were able to get fresh towels delivered. The grounds are very large as the resort is made up of 3 separate resorts (4 if you are staying at TRS). You have access to all 3 areas to use the pools, beaches, and restaurants. Even though the grounds are large it is very walkable (which we did almost all the time). There are lots of golf carts driving around that usually stop and ask if you would like a ride. Food at this resort was of very good quality. The buffet does get a little repetitive by the end of the week but there is still a very good selection. One negative we seen many times was people with no manners or social skills testing food at the buffet stations or budding in line (but that is no fault of the resort). One concern I had before arriving was getting seating for our group of 8 at the a la cartes and buffets. That was not an issue and we sat together as a group for every meal. To get seating for a group you need to go to the lobby at 8:00 am and book with the concierge, which was always friendly and helpful. The a la carte restaurants all had great selections and quality. As well as great service. They do ask you each meal if you want to order from the wine list (which is an upcharge). My wife and I are wine drinkers and we thought that the house red was the best we have found at an all inclusive resort. You are always able to find live music in one of the lobby's at night which was always good quality. The White Sands pool had live music every afternoon we were there. The beach at this resort is not the greatest as the seating area is not super deep and the water is a little rocky. Water shoes are definitely needed. The best beach is in the Colonial area behind the children's water park. There is always lots of chairs to chose from. The pool at White Sands is, in my opinion, better than Colonial because it is not as deep. There is also the adults only 'secreto' pool which is very nice and has it's own bar. Overall, I would recommend to this resort. It is not 5 star but in my opinion I would say it is a strong 4 and we have travelled to 15+ resorts in the Mayan Riviera. For the price you pay I would say it is a good deal.
