9 nights
Stayed 9 nights in room 3302 which was the Panoramic Ocean View Suite/Governors Suite. We booked through Wyndham as we were diamond members and when we arrived we asked if there were any upgrades associated with diamond. Room couldn't be upgraded as then they would have to put us in the Ambassadors suite which is reserved for Travel Club/Family Selection members. But, they did give us red VIP bracelets which allowed us to book as many dinners in the restaurants as we wanted and we could prebook over 24 hours in advance. It was a nice touch. Room itself was great for those days we were a bit hungover, and those nights you just wanted to chill and sit in the hot tub on the balcony. Room was clean, always stocked, great housekeeping staff. Bed and pillows were all good and lots of towels. Two tv's but 1 was on the fritz. We didn't bother with it as we weren't in that room at all. Bartenders were great as were the housekeeping staff Food in the 4 restaurants were all excellent with the standout being the lasagna at the Italian restaurant for me. Asian ice cream was also excellent. Pools were ok but the beach was a lot of fun as was the ocean pool Downsides were the location needed a good cleaning around the adults pool, and our hallway to our room had bird feces on the wall that kept accumulating without being addressed. We enjoyed ourselves though

Relaxing getaway down time around the adult pool and beach
Enjoyed our stay very relaxing. Great staff and service. Food was very acceptable. Adult quiet pool got a bit crazy with conflicting music at times. Great beach a surfers paradise. Lovely garden paths to escape the mussel. Loved our bartender Bernardo!

Great Bartenders
I have been coming here 1-3 times for 15 years. There are a few long time employees that deserve recognition. Specifically Bernardo, at the adult pool bar and Antonio at Fizz, the beach bar. These guys make the experience special. There are fun and cheery and provide great costumer service. The embody the true feel of a Mexican beach vacation. Great work Bernardo and Antonio!

Not what you see in pictures
The hotel itself is old and not renovated, facilities aren't kept up clean and neat looking. Rooms lack good air conditioner units, bathrooms don't have any natural light or ventilation. The bed wasn't comfortable and the mattress was sinking on both edges. The only good thing about visiting was having the opportunity to spend most of our time out of the hotel for activities in the area. You definitely don't get what you pay for an all inclusive hotel, food was subpar at any point and location, drinks are extremely diluted and all their sodas are flat.
