    Great staff!

    David the Chef and Jennifer our waitress were amazing at Portafino! Albeth and Victor helped us at the Paladium check in and were wonderful! Archi was amazing at helping us with dinner reservations!

    9 day March stay - 5* All-Inclusive

    We had a wonderful stay. Staff, food, facilities were fantastic. [I only had some difficulties with fragrance allergies, and receiving requests for that. May have been language barrier or communication from concierge to cleaning staff. I also wrote many Spanish notes (not my first language) for cleaners. Through checking and concierge, I asked for fragrance free cleaning which was provided right away except for one day (Day 7) out of 9. I took my own fragrance free shampoo and soap, but asked for fragrance free toilet tissue and bathroom towels. The regular tissue rolls are fragranced at White Sands. The fragrance free tissue they found was the industrial sized, public bathroom roll, and it arrived on day 5 ish. I aired it on balcony anyway. I quickly decided to use beach towels for the week rather than luxury, white fragranced bathroom towels. Concierge and cleaners provided an over-abundance of beach towels. Sheets and bedding provided by hotel was fragrance free! Hooray! Requested that my bathroom towels be washed with my sheets, but I don’t think they tried that for me. All white towels provided had a light scent which bothered me each time they put them in my room through the week. I had to remove them every time, and spray with zero odour. Take clear garbage bags for handling fragranced products]. Also, I asked for decaffeinated coffee for the room right away; it took 4 or 5 days to arrive. Happily spent most of time outdoors with friends by beautiful pools, enjoying excellent food and drink. Not much time spent in my room.. But when I was in my room, it was very comfortable. You’ll enjoy your stay. And staff go beyond the call of duty to attempt to help ❤️

    Great Hotel

    Very nice and clean hotel. Friendly staff. Pools were very well maintained. There is a large variety of food at the buffets and many restaurants to choose from.
