Lovely time
My husband & have frequently visited Grand Palladium Properties including Punta Cana as we are Travel Club Members. My review will not be about travel club as of late we are very disappointed with our Palladium Travel Club MEMBERSHIP specifically. This review will be about the incredible employees that the Travel Club & Grand Palladium has working for them, one in particular, MARITZA GUTIERREZ. We met Maritza about 3 years ago and became fast friends. Maritza is one of those people who absolutely goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect. Maritza is honestly one of the reasons we love Punta Cana property, she is a great asset to Travel Club. Maritza always knows where we are and checks to see if we need anything. Maritza has a great sense of humor, awesome personality and well rounded, not to mention speaks very good English. Maritza is one of the employees we see daily and she truly is one of the butlers for travel club who make us feel like family. I cannot say enough about Manuel Riviera. This young man works alongside with Maritza very well. They both always seem to know what we need. On our trips we have had a few things that needed attending to and both Maritza or Manuel were quick to help and always get a solution for us. They truly are employees/friends that make our Grand Palladium Punta Cana property trips amazing. Thank you! All of Grand Palladium Resorts definitley have terrific staff. Sometimes I don’t think we would frequent Grand Palladium’s Resorts as often if it weren’t for the staff at different properties, who we now happily call our friends, including Maritza Gutierrez & Manuel Rivera.

Grand Palladium Palace Review
I recently stayed at the Grand Palladium Palace All-Inclusive Resort and had a mixed experience. First off, the staff were incredible. Very friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The POP Entertainment team, including Lisselotte, Xavier, Julio, Alex, Jorge, Joelvi, and Rodolfo, made a real difference in my stay. They were energetic, professional, and really added to the overall vibe of the place. Also, a big shoutout to the bartenders, Yulian, Jose Luis Cedeno, Jose Luis Reynoso, Carlos, William, Yuan, and Jeison. They were excellent, always with a smile and made the best of what they had to work with. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. I really struggled to find many dishes I enjoyed. The steakhouse and the Japanese restaurant were the only ones that were decent; I actually finished my meal there, well sometimes. However, at the other restaurants, (e.g., Italian, and the buffets) I ended up leaving my plate mostly untouched. The food didn’t taste good, some dishes weren’t cooked properly, others were bland, and some even had strange flavours. I spoke to other guests, and they seemed to share the same sentiment, so it wasn’t just me. The drinks, while not the best I’ve had, were made well by the bartenders I mentioned above. They definitely did their best with what they had to work with. The room itself was nice, but the shower design was a bit of a mess. It had this weird setup where water got everywhere, which was frustrating. However, the pools and beach were beautiful and a great way to relax. The service from the staff around these areas was also really good. Overall, while the staff and the beach/pool areas were great, the food and some of the room features need significant improvement. If you're looking for a place with fantastic service and great outdoor areas, this could be a good fit. But if food quality is important to you, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

Beware the "welcome breakfast", quality of service, maintenance and hygiene.
I am writing to provide feedback regarding my recent stay at the Palladium Palace Casino and Spa from December 6 to December 13. I stayed in Block 84 as part of a family group of 12 celebrating a 50th birthday. While our overall holiday was enjoyable, there were several areas where the experience fell short of a five-star rating. Travel Club Meeting Our group was invited to a "welcome breakfast" that resulted in a four-hour, aggressive sales pitch for the Travel Club. Despite asking for pricing early on, we were forced to wait through hours of pitching. When my family eventually declined the $12,000 membership offer, the sales representative became visibly irritated. This experience soured our first full day. I recommend that Palladium clearly state that these meetings are optional sales presentations and provide cost information within the first 30 minutes. Staff Service Service was inconsistent. While the bar staff and lobby coffee servers were excellent, other staff appeared to be in low spirits. Additionally, the frequency of sales staff approaching us near the pool and walkways was intrusive, often forcing us to take different routes to avoid them. Maintenance Issues I encountered several issues in my room: - The room was not cleaned on the first day despite my request. - Multiple USB ports and power sockets were non-functional. - The toilet ran constantly. After two failed attempts by maintenance to fix it, the issue persisted. - The minibar was not restocked for several days. - Other members of my party reported similar maintenance problems in their rooms. Hygiene and Dining In the buffet areas, food labels were frequently misplaced, mixing vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. We also observed the same utensils being used for different types of meat. Furthermore, at the Japanese restaurant, the chef used the same utensils for beef and chicken after being specifically informed that members of our party do not eat beef. I believe the hotel currently reflects a two-star experience, saved primarily by the hardworking bar and café staff. I hope you will review these points to improve the standard of service for future guests.

Fun time with Xavier aka Barack Obama
Xavier aka Barack Obama and Alex was the best part of our trip. They were fun and by far the most entertaining during our family vacation. We were here for 9 days and we looked forward to seeing them by the pool and doing the activities they had for us. We laughed everyday and the day they were off was definitely not the same.

Xavier and Alex are AMAZING
Barack Obama was by far the most entertaining person we encountered in our stay. We were here for eight days, and he was the most pleasant POP employee we experienced in our 8 day stay. If you come, be sure to stop by the palace pool and say hi to Xavier AKA “Barack Obama” (and Alex who looks like T.I. (The rapper))
