Mar 27, 2026Great Stay at the Palladium
My son and I enjoyed a lovely stay here. Friendly, helpful staff, clean rooms, many amenities and the water is just gorgeous. The food is plentiful, the specialty dining food is decent but the service is excellent. Sumptuori the Japanese hibachi was delicious and entertaining.

We enjoyed the sunshine and beaches and culture. The food was very bland and not use to that. Housekeeping were pleasant and concierge available. However it would have been nice to know at check in we had to go through her for booking and any questions. Confusing process and a let down

Mar 26, 2026Honest review of my experience at Palladium Palace
Having read multiple reviews before my trip, I had mixed feelings about coming here. So here’s my honest opinion. CHECK-IN: We checked-in on a Friday at noon. We were the only ones checking in at that moment, so it was fast and we were welcomed with a cocktail. Also, nice surprise, the room was ready. ROOM: We booked a swim-up room. The room was nice and clean and the view on the patio was amazing. However, we never got rid of the high humidity in the room. Even the sheets felt damp. The mattress was super comfortable though. GROUNDS: It’s a big resort, so it’s a bit confusing at first, but the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. POOLS: There are 3 pools that you can use. All three are clean and beautiful. Lots of shaded areas around the pool but it can be hard to find a vacant sunbed if you arrive in the afternoon. BEACH: Bavaro beach is a beautiful beach that stretches for miles. Soft sand, no rocks. Waves are fun to play into. Lots of shade, but again, you have to come early to find a spot. Ideally before 8 am. The width of the beach is narrower in front of Grand Palladium compared to the other resorts (but that means you’re closer to the water). The constant coming and going of vendors on the beach is annoying. But NO SIGNIFICANT SEAWEED ALL WEEK! Yay! FOOD: Buffets are good. Plenty to choose from. Food sometimes a bit cold though. Nice sweets. There are 4 a-la-carte restaurants. We went to the Indian and Italien. Both were nice. Food was good and warm. Service was fast. STAFF: Most were nice. We tried to avoid the people in green shirts from the travel club in the lobby and it was ok. Having said all that, we had a wonderful stay at the hotel and would recommend!

The language barrier is terrible. To find yourself around is confusing. No room to lounge at the pool. No coffee available and the staff is slow. I know it is your culture and it’s not for us to change it. Just very hard can’t understand or communicate with the staff.

Short Vacay
Although my stay was short, I had a great two days at the resort. The personnel were all very friendly, the resort was very huge the pool area was inviting, restaurants were clean and decorative the food was delicious and large variety.Overall I enjoyed myself and I would come back for a longer stay.
