  Pre-Christmas vacation - December 2025

  Overall, it was an excellent resort. The beach was nice although the last half of the week, the beach had a lot of seaweed. The staff had tractors and cleaned it as best they could. The service and the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. I would go back.

  Never stay at this resort

  After this experience I will never go to the Dominican Republic again. Despite 3 of the 4 rooms being dirty. A sliding glass door fell and shattered on the floor. My elder mother in law was right next to it and almost crushed by the door. The hotel did not accommodate at all and we paid full price even after 4 people were forced to a room that did not have the same value as what we paid. The food was less than desirable outside of an actual restaurant. Staff was lazy to service from the rooms to the bar. I literally grabbed cleaning supplies out of a housekeeping closet to clean it myself even after a housekeeper came to “clean” the room. Bar staff was in no rush and tipping at this hotel meant absolutely nothing. Like I said, never again. This is a 1 start motel. The 5 stars were never seen. I was hoping to relax with family but instead it was a free for all fighting with staff who did not care.

  Good time

  Good experience here and lisselotte is the best entertainment her is so very nice , the hotel I love the food , the show in the night I dancing with the gays

  William the bartending hero!

  Having an absolute blast (won't mention the dysfunctional shower) and would recommend this resort. William at the palace pool bar has only one minor flaw, that is once I saw his super hero cape sticking out from under his uniform... William is a mix master who made my entire party party. Get some!

  Good choice for DR vacation

  This is a good place to stay for an all inclusive. This was our 3rd time coming to the DR and first time staying at this resort and we will most likely be returning. Pros & cons: Nice beach, although towards the latter half of our trip there was more build up of seaweed, they try to clear most of it during the day but not much they can do after Pool- always lively and clean Food - better than most resorts. Skip the Indian restaurant! The Japanese was our favourite. Italian was good too and the steakhouse Chic Cabaret- entertainment was nice (food terrible) The steak at the lunch buffet is amazing Some of the best coffee we’ve had from the coffee bar They also have a great selection of desserts Minus a couple point because we saw a couple of mega cockroaches (1 in our room and 1 at the steakhouse) DO NOT DO THE TRAVEL CLUB TOUR - they will try to get you to do the the next morning after your arrival- my suggestion is to skip it unless you want to waste half of your day listening to aimless talk about the hotel for hours only for them to tell you the plot … which isn’t enticing anyhow! All for a measly 50,000 points which equates to $200 usd… but you can only use it within the hotel which doesn’t get you much tbh Another con is the bathroom… poorly designed the shower is in a huge bathtub that you have to climb into… not sure how the older people get it. Also the glass windows don’t cover much so it’s impossible for water not to get everywhere on the bathroom floor. Con- the AC doesn’t get lower that 22 Celsius and stops on its own from time to time. Very frustrating when you just want a relief from the heat. Pro: staff is amazing and everyone seemed happy to work there and help us which made for a pleasant experience. Pro: the hotel is very lively and activities are endless Despite some of the cons we will definitely be coming back!
