    Disappointed & Not Recommended

Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend Our stay at this resort in Mexico was a major letdown. The food quality was poor, with most meals lacking flavor and freshness. The drinks were overly sweet, filled with sugar and syrup, making them almost undrinkable. The room was another issue entirely. The A/C struggled to keep up, leaving the space uncomfortably humid. On top of that, there were gaps in the door, allowing bugs to get in—a huge nuisance during our stay. If you want to eat at the restaurants, be prepared to plan ahead. Reservations are required at least a day or two in advance, which is incredibly inconvenient for guests looking to relax without rigid schedules. Overall, this resort failed to meet even the basic expectations for comfort and quality. Save your money and book elsewhere.

    Wedding

This was my third trip to Grand Palladium Riviera Maya. Every trip is better than the last. The remodeled Kantanah rooms are gorgeous!

    Excellent holiday

I will give my honest opinion as always. We have been going to the Palladium since 2010 and in 2022 we had a really bad experience but decided to give it one more try and we were not disappointed. We were told by TUI that building works were being carried out which was a big red flag for us. Honestly, we did not hear a thing. A couple of restaurants were closed but that did not make any difference. We were kindly upgraded to VIP guests for the amount of years we have visited which gave us access to the exclusive TRS. We ate in the Japanese restaurant - very nice. We ate in the Argentinian and Brazilian restaurants - again very nice. We also ate in the sports bar. The buffet restaurant is what you expect - buffet style food. Some of it was not very hot but the stir-fry at the end of the hot food was just amazing, as was the pancakes freshly made. The beach bar also was very good and well stocked with food. Mainly burger and chips, pasta and nacho's. There is an ice-cream machine to help yourself which the kids did all the time. A special "Thank you" to Paoula, our server by the pool. She brought us drinks all day long and knew what we wanted all the time. All the staff were polite and smiling all the time. We did have rain and when it came down, it was heavy. We didn't have leave the pool side as it was only for a short time and then dried out really quickly. The Kantenah has had a refurb and is now very stylish. Its been made more into a family resort. The pool has been upgraded by the Black & White (POP Kids Club) with sun loungers and small ones for children. The towels are blue and I loved the "Family Boss" yellow towels for the children. This is a nice touch. Also on the beach there is a more children friendly area and going into the sea where there are no rocks with rooms overlooking the beach. As I have said before, we have previously had a bad experience but now, with the refurbishment, I would definitely recommend visiting the Grand Palladium. Thank you to all the staff for making our holiday memorable.

    Great experience

First of all: Family selection is 100% worth it. Great attractions for the kids. Kids room just amazing. Lots of fun and stuff to do. Villas just 5 steps from the beach. Butler service is great. Special appreciation for Abraham and Guillermo. Guys are definitely know what are they doing and was really helpful. Food is okay, lineups sometimes at main buffets for lunch and dinner. Argentina steak house disappointed, but Brazilian and Japanese were really good. Breakfasts at Nest were unbelievable. Must go. Sport-bar was awesome, burgers and wings were really good. Show at BRAVO is really worth it, even for the little extra money. Lots of dancing and music. Another great feature: no cards for the room and towels. Absolutely love it. Advises for management: more transport at evening time. Lots of attractions, lots of tourists….was few unpleasant moments. Expansion for the sport bar, pretty crowded at game day and night. And lineups at main buffets. But it’s only minor. We had a GREAT time with the kids and friends. Great experience. Definitely recommend that resort and come back again.
