Need advice on public busses
I've not gone yet but I'm reading a lot about the free shuttle busses being packed out. Has anyone used the public busses, if so are these handy. Google maps show the stop a 10 min walk away in the village. We go 5th june with 3 kids under 5. Any advice appreciated

Lovely hotel in need of some a revamp
We stayed here for 4 nights check in was good, bags in the luggage room as we were to early for check in. Room was locked and you needed a key pass to get in. The hotel interior is beautiful and magical. Bar area is fabulous at night with the lighting, although prices are expensive but cocktails are delicious! Room was nice with bunk beds for children and double bed. There was a beautiful moon light on the wall and star constellations. Room was generally clean apart from the large coffee stain on the carpet which needs cleaning as it doesnt give a great first impression. We had problems with the toilet being blocked we reported it twice and they were quick to come up to it, but it did not get fixed any of the times that they came even though they said it was fixed. Like others have said the rooms were ridiculously warm and when I complained to reception, they told me that they don’t switch on the air-conditioning until July which is ridiculous. If you have got a room that is advertised as having air-conditioning surely regardless of the time of year it should be option that you can use it when you want to. They did come up to have a look at it but I don’t think he really knew how to operate it. That evening, the air-conditioning seem to kick in, probably because lots of people were complaining about the lack of air-conditioning with the warm weather. The lights under the bunkbed did not work, but I didn’t want to waste my time reporting them. The sink in the bathroom had a few cracks in it needs replacing. Cups for the drinks were plentiful and changed every day. The bed was made every day and clean and the room was cleaned well generally. Although we had interconnecting rooms with my sister and brother-in-law between the doors, there was fudge from a previous guest which was not nice and should have been cleaned prior to our arrival. Also the lift area near our bedrooms which was not well used had a bottle in there for days and crumbs all on the floor, so there is clearly does not get cleaned very often. The pool well what can I say , it was very warm and in need of a major revamp the sides of the pool were green with like an algae. It just needs some money spending on it as it was very disappointing. Even the changing areas weren’t good, there was nowhere to change our baby, and the lockers were out of action. The pictures of the pool prior to arrival were very misleading as it didn’t look anything like it. Disappointing. Breakfast. There were plenty of pastries and we had no issues with getting coffee and drinks in the morning. There was a bit of a queue, but no different to anywhere else that you would stay really. There was two toast machines which worked well, and I never had to queue for. The eggs and bacon that were being served were not warm, and neither were the crepes. The cereal choices were fine, and there was the option of fruit and yoghurt, as well as salad 😂 The shuttle we managed to get a seat most of the time Although sometimes it could be really busy, but mainly this was on return. It is a bit of a free for all and there is no queueing system but what I say is if you can’t beat them join them. Watch out on the busy buses for pickpockets on one of the return buses there was a lady trying to get in another ladies handbag. Luckily, the lady noticed, and another gentleman grabbed hold of her arm before she left with nothing and departed the bus Overall, we had a lovely stay, just certain areas of the hotel need some money spending on them and some extra cleaning in certain areas.

Would not stay here again
Check in - was dreadful, took nearly 40 minutes. Reception staff were having discussions with each other during our check in process. No explanation as to what the delays were. Really not a good start to our 3 night stay. Room - air con was not available. It was 23 degrees outside room was extremely hot. I called reception and was told that they do not turn it on until June . Clearly this was about saving money and not the comfort of the guest. Was promised that a technician would come and check that it was not sending out warm air, this never happened . Called reception again , who said that they didn’t know about the offer of the technician coming to the room. I then requested two fans one for each of the adjoining rooms. Apparently these are in short supply. Tea and coffee facilities- 2 tea bags and 2 milk sachets for 5 guests. Paper cups , surely a 4 star hotel should have provided decent cups/ mugs. No spoons only a wooden stick. Seems to be a great deal of waste of cardboard and wood . - hotel manager made aware stock increased to the level it should have been Again budget focused rather than the guest. Fridge - really needed to be replaced not cold enough to keep the drinks cool. Swimming pool - needs some TLC . Grandson grazed his hand on the rough concrete . Breakfast - stressful and area had no aircon so was dreadful. Lack of staff to keep the area clean. A member of staff dropped a cloth on the floor , he didn’t notice straight away but when he did he picked it up and proceeded to use it again rather than throwing it in the waste bin. The area is not large enough to give a relaxing experience for the number of guest Small curtains on very large windows pulled together to try and shade the area from the bright sunshine , room needs decent blinds and aircon. I stood by a door which was the entrance to the kitchen, clearly aircon is available as the area was very cool. Another example of budget versus guest comfort . Bus to the parks - what an absolute disaster. No control of the number of people on the bus. Arriving first at the pick up point certainly did not mean that you were first on the bus. The number of people on the bus exceeded what would be deemed safe in the UK. Lots of families with push chairs , with not enough space for them to position them safely. Even when the bus was full the driver continued to the next hotel to collect additional passengers. This needs a review for the safety of the people using this service. I would rather have paid a small fee if it meant the service was improved, the number of people on each bus was controlled and a turnstile system was introduced so first to arrive meant you got on the bus first . This hotel does not provide a 4 star service . The hotel manager was made aware of the concerns about the hotel and said they would be shared with the relevant teams but having just read the previous reviews it seems that the issues are ongoing . We would not rebook this hotel

Very Disappointing
I’ve stayed in this hotel on many occasions and absolutely loved it there hence why I returned for the 6th time with my eldest daughter and my 11 month old daughter Unfortunately this time I was left extremely disappointed. Upon arrival found that the hotel had changed, its interior looked great. But found that the shop inside had closed down leaving one small shop with hardly anything in it. This didnt even have bottles of water or cartons of milk for my daughter in the old shop it was fully stocked and if things were not on the shelf you could ask and they would usually have more stock away. We got onto the second floor we’re our room was located and we’re hit with a strong smell of stale cigarettes, we were allocated room 2200 the room was absolutely roasting hot, the bathroom had a strong drain smell and wasn’t cleaned to the best standard. The food in the restaurant had upped its game and was really tasty! So that was a bonus. I’m the past when I have visted this hotel we have never had a problem getting on a shuttle. This time round was awful, I’ve never experienced anything like it. We couldn’t get on one shuffle so waited for the next still couldn’t get on that and ended up having to get a taxi which was 20 euro for a five minute journey. The day was the same still couldn’t get on a bus resulting in a taxi again. Whilst we were staying in the hotel there was a group of teenagers from a school staying on the same floor of us. They were shouting out of windows to other rooms their friends were in and running up and down corridors at 2/3am banging on people’s doors. We did inform the reception and they advised they would deal with the situation but again the next night same thing happened with no resolution. Overall I was very disappointed in how much this hotel has changed and not for the better.

Bang Average
Stayed Thursday to Sunday. I think the proce is dictated by the location. No real complaints around the service or standards but equally there isn't anything worth writing home abiut. Reception and bar area are really impressive spaces but not so impressive that you could justify paying €9 for a pint of Kronenburg! This is more than the price charged inside Disney! Also, the bar closes at 11pm so if you stay in Disney to watch the closing shows it's shut by the time you get back. Seems like a bit of an oversight, we kept a few bottles of red in our room and took them down to the bar area. Rooms are clean and comfortable but really lacking in storage space for clothes so be prepared to live out of your suitcase. If there are four of you sharing a room for longer than 3 nights then this could be a problem. There are mini fridges but they are tiny and not very cold The onsite shop is a real lowlight - €6 for a bottle of water! May was well call it Dick Turpin's and get the till staff in there to wear a mask and cape. Vending machines on each floor are also really expensive. Kids went in the pool a couple of times which was ok. Fairly small but it was quiet during our stay. Only had breakfast at the hotel which was pretty standard buffet style for Europe. Bacon and sausage were the usual poor quality but there was plenty of variety and the pastries were lovely. If you stay here, make sure you take a ten minute walk into the small town of Magny-Le-Hongre. Turn left out of the hotel and cut across the field after the roundabout. They were in the process of creating a new path while we were there. It's a really nice place and everyone we met was very friendly. There is a supermarket where you can get 6 bottles of water for just over half the price of one in the onsite shop and three bottles of red wine and a corkscrew for less than the price of two pints at the bar. There are some great restaurants that are very reasonably priced, a couple of fabulous bakeries and a tremendous wine bar called Les Perruches which you should definitely visit child free if you can. As mentioned by other reviewers, shuttle buses get very busy, especially coming back late in the evening. My son was in a wheelchair due to a bad football injury and groups of adults were literally clambering over him to get on the bus ahead of us. Overall the hotel is just a bit meh. Wouldn't go out of my way to book it again.
