If you are looking to relax/refresh I highly would suggest the Hyatt resort. The location was great for getting to the areas we were wanting to go. The Atmosphere of the property was comforting and relaxing. The room was comfortable and clean. Had a corner room with a golf course view and it was outstanding. The level of service at the bar and the restaurant was top notch. Very professional staff. Well trained. Will stay there again when I go back to that area.

Great Gainey Grand Hyatt! Great NEW Resort, Great Staff, Great Stay for a Great Special Occasion! From the communications before the stay (from Pia, Brooklyn) to the post stay commo with FD (Aurelia) and through the entire Great stay, the Team was friendly, professional and made us all feel very VIP special. Lounge with Annie, Jackie and great Restaurants cooks and helpers JR, Henry, Benjamin, and lounge team (Andrew, l/t favorite). Food was top notch, as we enjoyed all property dining and the H2O (amigo de PR, Jose, Manuel...team). Casita was over the top! Been a many years fan and always a favorite! 1000%! Lobby Lounges Restaurants Pools impeccably clean professionally maintained. Great Stay, Great Property Outstanding Grand Hyatt Team! Lance and his leadership shines, Smiles, professionalism, friendliness over the top! We SHALL Return!

Mar 04, 2026Disappointing and Inhospitable Service at a Luxury Price Point
I am extremely disappointed by my recent experience at the Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort, especially given the resort’s reputation and the high nightly room rates. While the property itself is beautiful, the service we received from the night shift front desk staff fell far below expectations for a hotel of this caliber. The interaction was not only unaccommodating but also dismissive and unnecessarily adversarial. Due to a delayed flight, one guest arrived before the primary name on the reservation. Although her name was listed on the confirmation email, she was denied check-in for nearly three hours and told she “could just be someone walking in off the streets,” which felt dismissive and inappropriate. After waiting until nearly midnight local time (2 a.m. EST), she was finally granted access to the room. As a widow seeking refuge the week of the anniversary of her husband's death, she was apalled by the belittling and inflexible nature of the front desk staff. When the primary guest later arrived, the front desk indicated they could “call security to let her into her room” but stated they were unable to issue an additional room key. While we understand and respect security protocols, the tone and approach throughout these interactions were unnecessarily rigid and lacked the hospitality, empathy, and problem-solving one would expect from a Grand Hyatt property. Policies can and should be enforced with professionalism, courtesy, and a guest-first mindset - particularly at a luxury resort charging premium rates. Unfortunately, this experience significantly diminished what should have been an enjoyable stay. I sincerely hope management reviews both the handling of this situation and the training provided to overnight staff, as the level of service we encountered does not reflect the standards typically associated with the Grand Hyatt brand.

Obnoxiously loud outdoor music blaring at night and early in the morning despite the weather in the 40s and the late hour (and early hour when it came on again at 6:50 am). So loud it woke me up. Took multiple calls to get it resolved.

Great stay
We had an amazing stay! From check-in to check-out, the customer service was exceptional. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. The staff truly went above and beyond to make us feel celebrated and appreciated.
