Dec 27, 2025Amazing first time experience in Scottsdale, Arizona at the Grand Hyatt
I had an amazing experience here. The front desk, man named David was exceptional, friendly professional, and a great first impression to the hotel. The grand Hyatt has a very lively and fun environment with live music, a hot tub/ pool area and a beautiful open floor arrangement that and looks so luxurious It was my first time in Scottsdale, Arizona, and it wouldn’t have been such an amazing time without the grand Hyatt so thankful for the amazing staff and experience I had here!

Dec 25, 2025Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Christmas Brunch - never again!
Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort Christmas Brunch was such a disappointment. We arrived in plenty of time before the start of the last sitting and had to wait for a table to be readied despite there being many tables empty. After being served sparking wine/mimosa, we found that some of the food options had already run out completely with stations left empty. After an hour, we noticed that the kitchen staff started coming out from behind-the-scenes to eat in the restaurant we were in, then we were immediately informed that it was last call for food and the food stations began to be cleared away, starting with deserts. We had to scramble to salvage some deserts and then quickly get some main course of the carved meats before it was taken away. Unfortunately, two people in our party did not get to the meat station in time, before it was removed, so they went without a main course. We did receive a second glass of sparkling wine/mimosa but it was made clear that the staff wanted us to leave quickly by hovering near our table as we tried to eat our main course/deserts. After 15 minutes it was clear that the staff were closing up as they began removing the restaurant fixtures/tables, despite there being four tables of diners still hurriedly trying to finish eating. When I raised the issue with the restaurant manager he said that the staff also had to eat as well and the staff wanted to leave, as though this was an excused for the shocking lack of customer service shown towards paying customers. This is not the kind of service I expect from any Hilton. Never again!

Excellent resort
The resort was very nice. Check in and out were easy. Rooms were clean. Enjoyed the spa very much. Drinks were pricey as was the food but both were good. Breakfast had good choices. Was very happy with all the staff we dealt with. Definitely would stay again

Great Relaxing Stay
The Grand Hyatt Scottsdale is a beautiful property and a great environment for a realaxing stay with your family. I really appreciated that the hotel promotes a relaxing atmosphere with deticated quiet hours.
