Great experience

A great well located hotel

In a great location with a great sky bar and adult only pool, friendly staff and would definitely visit again. Easy access to the beach , never struggled to get a sunbed . Bat tenders upstairs and downstairs make great cocktails . Only complaint was a louder than average air conditioning sound coming from the bottom corner. Glad I gave this hotel a try

Grand Beach Surfside always delivers

I was a bit hesitant about our stay at the Grand Beach Hotel Surfside because of some negative reviews, but I’m so glad we went—we had an amazing experience! We had no issues with the AC, and the food was actually great (and we are pretty picky eaters). From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive. The hotel itself is beautiful, with spacious, modern rooms and breathtaking ocean views. The rooftop pool was a highlight—peaceful, with incredible views of the beach and city. The private beach access was also a huge plus, with comfortable lounge chairs and umbrellas available. The location is perfect, close to great restaurants and shopping, yet still feels like a relaxing getaway. Everything about our stay was smooth, and we felt truly taken care of. If you’re on the fence, don’t be—this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend

Looks great from the outside, falls short everywhere else

The Grand Beach Hotel looks like a high end Surfside hotel, but it falls short in too many areas. Beyond the overwhelming astringent smell in the lobby, our rooms were not cleaned well with no glasses cleared, room service was incorrect, the service at Le Plage restaurant was embarrassingly bad, and the pools are very small. What really made the entire place terrible was the large group of people staying there for an event (we were told the hotel has a deal with a community center nearby for special rates) and this group made us feel very uncomfortable in all public spaces. There was only one working elevator. The adult pool was very uninviting due to the conservative nature of this large group and we felt unwelcome in our own hotel. Lizbeth did a great job with service up there though. Why does the rooftop bar close at 9pm? The pool downstairs is tiny and you cannot see the ocean. The beach chairs were filthy but comfortable and the guys down there were happy to set them up for us, but it gets very crowded. Slow but friendly service on the beach. TL;DR - stay somewhere else and avoid dirty rooms and dirty looks from other guests.
