Overall great experience
The Hotel is perfectly located in the city center, which makes sightseeing very easy. The rooms were clean, comfortable beds. The first night it was very loud and we couldn’t sleep, the next day we got an upgrade to a room on a higher floor and on the other side of the hotel and it was quiet! The staff was very friendly and helpful, we already booked our next stay in the same room for in January.

Pleasant stay in Mexico City
Hotel is conveniently located in a quiet neighbourhood just off one of Avenida Paseo de la Reforma, not far from the statue of the Angel of Independence. If you are fit and keen on walking, it takes about 40 minutes to Palace de Belles Artes and Zocalo. Comfortable, clean and spacious rooms, nice breakfast (but avoid the morning rush hour when all tour groups that stay there descend on the restaurant). Big selection of fruits, juices, cold cuts and cheese as well as cooked items. Staff in the restaurant is attentive. The reception staff on the other hand not so much. Interesting fact about most Mexican hotels I stayed at - there is no kettle to boil water nor any tea bags. This hotel had a coffee machine (pods). Overall, pleasant hotel to base yourself in Mexico City.

Decent
I had a pleasant stay at Galería Plaza Reforma. The staff were friendly and attentive, and housekeeping did an excellent job keeping the room very clean throughout my stay. The location is a big plus, with convenient access to restaurants, shopping, and major areas of the city. The main drawback was noise. I could easily hear the neighboring room, and there was noticeable hallway noise, especially at night. The Wi-Fi was also somewhat slow, which could be an issue for guests needing reliable internet. Overall, it’s a solid hotel with great service and a prime location, but better soundproofing and faster Wi-Fi would improve the experience.

One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had
The hotel is a class act! Beautifully appointed rooms as well as lobby area. Starbucks and 2 restaurants on lobby level. Lavish buffet for 430 pesos including made-to-order omelet bar. Breakfast buffet, served from 6:30 to 12 noon was included and was delicious. Beautiful city view from rooftop pool area, including a great view of the Angel on Reforma. Loads of shopping, restaurants and bars, both straight and gay. Safe, walkable neighborhood. Staff was courteous and very helpful, and most I talked to spoke English enough to understand me, even though I speak Spanish. Couldn't get a better hotel for under $100 in this neighborhood. Can't wait to go back and stay more than 1 night. You shouldnt miss this marvelous hotel.
