Here’s a smooth revision with your added point woven in naturally: --- I titled this review “Tired Eyes” because management clearly isn’t quality‑controlling the basics. I saw a mix of reviews before booking and assumed some of the complaints were from high‑maintenance travelers, so I took the risk — but now I agree with many of them. The hotel staff was friendly, but I still ended up buying bleach and disinfecting wipes from the local Dollar Tree to clean the shower and wipe down surface areas, including the headboard. The linens looked clean, but I shouldn’t be doing this much cleaning during a business trip. I was also glad I packed room shoes because the floor hadn’t been mopped or vacuumed in a while. It’s disappointing because the hotel is ideally located — close to I‑95, shopping, and convenient for travel. After a long day, I want to relax, not sleep with the lights on or listen to a neighbor’s TV and a loud AC unit. --- If you want it sharper, softer, or more concise, I can tune i

Expensive typical hotel breakfast like most hotels offer for free.
Be aware that this Hilton charges for the breakfast buffet without telling you until you sit down with your plate, the price is 14.99 for the same breakfast fare you get everywhere else for free.

Was a good experience. We stayed here the night before our cruise. The room was nice and comfortable, the food was good in the buffet, even though it cost $15 each. Older hotel that needs some work especially the elevators and some of the ice machines. They do have shuttle services from the Airport which was good and can pay $20each for a shuttle/bus to the cruise port which was comfortable.

No hot water
The room had barely lukewarm water. Was finally moved to another room with the same result. Passable but don’t expect a hot or warm shower here.

Convenient and comfortable stay before our cruise
This was a convenient and comfortable hotel for our family to stay at before our cruise out of Port Everglades. The hotel has a free airport shuttle. Just call when you arrive and they will send a shuttle to pick you up and take you to the hotel. The hotel room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location is conveniently located in the Dania Point shopping center, and it is an easy walk to multiple restaurants and to the Sprouts grocery store. Breakfast is offered in the morning for a charge, but you get a credit towards food if you are a Hilton member with certain levels of status. Be sure to check your hotel folio. Our food credit wasn’t initially applied and we had to call to get it applied for a refund after our stay. There is a cruise port shuttle that leaves at two times from the hotel. They charge $20 per person cash. This is a convenient, but time consuming option. The shuttle stops to pick up additional passengers at the Springhill Suites across the street and then will stop at every cruise ship at the port to drop off passengers. Unfortunately our cruise ship with Disney Cruise Line was the last stop. We weren’t worried about being late, but we were on the shuttle for 1 hour before we were dropped off. Leave plenty of time if you choose to use the shuttle.
