Magical
It's hard to believe there are any bad reviews for this resort. The problem areas are minor and the overall experience is just magical. The best resort we have ever stayed at and will probably ever stay at. The staff were so pleasant and accommodating. The amenities are beautiful. The view is like a painting. Front Desk/Check In - We arrived the day after Thanksgiving and the resort was very crowded. The crowds subsided a few days after. We had a problem with our original room and Bernadette went out of her way to get us a new assignment. We had to move the following day but it was well worth it. Management followed up with a call to ensure we liked our new room which was a great touch. Pool Areas - We were at the adult pool primarily. It's true that you have to get there early to get your preferred seating. Depends on how busy the resort is. We were there at 6:45am each day. One day there was 10 people ahead of me, most days only about 3. There were still chairs around 10:00am so if you don't care where you sit you may be OK. You check in with the attendant, they register you for those chairs and you can leave for a short period of time but can't abuse the privilege and be gone for hours. One day we had a one hour outrigger tour and we told the attendant who said no problem. Alex is the pool attendant at the adult pool and he was great. There are complimentary cabanas in the other pool areas, but most are paid. The sanctuaries seem to be all paid...at least $400 per day. There are plenty of spots for amazing views throughout the resort that require no additional payment. Shout out to Rowena who was the sweet lady who provided us with complimentary homemade treats every day. She always addressed us by name. All the servers and attendants at the adult pool were exceptional. Dining - We dined at Ferraros -great service, food was OK. Very expensive. The lobby bar was a great for a light meal and drink. The pool bar food was delicious and reasonably priced. We at lunch at the pool every day. Did not try Duo or Spago. Monkeypod is a great option only one mile from resort. Valet - A free shuttle for a one mile radius is provided. Great option for area restaurants. All the car attendants are so friendly. We took a tour one day and the car attendants offered us water while we waited. Outrigger - The resort offers a complimentary one hour outrigger experience. This would cost $$ if you had to pay another company. It was so pleasant. One of our outrigger guys serenaded us with a ukulele and song. So peaceful. Room - We had an interior oceanview room with a view of the courtyard and some ocean. If you want true oceanview you have to request oceanfront. Some reviews stated the rooms were "dated"... they are not. The rooms were modern, nicely appointed and exceptionally clean. The bathrooms were huge. Nightly turn down service and everything replenished. Some areas for improvement: Beds - the beds were too soft and the pillows very thin. The Four Seasons app allowed us to select the type of mattress we wanted, so not sure if this was accurate because we requested firm. Adult pool fiberglass - the fiberglass around the adult pool was very dirty and obscured the view if you were right behind. This is minor, but I list it only because it's such an easy thing to fix. Thank you Four Seasons for a magical and beautiful stay!

Absolutely amazing
This is our first time staying here and it was absolutely amazing! The check in was very smooth and they offered you lemonade and wash cloth at check in. We got upgraded to a garden executive suite which is absolutely beautiful! The room is super spacious with a giant living room and a patio. They even give our daughter a welcome gift and in the bathroom they have sponges with her name spelled out which I find very sweet! The room is cleaned twice a day and they are so attention to detail! They organized your toiletries on the counter for you and wrap your charging core with a tie. We mentioned we are celebrating our daughter’s birthday and they even brought a cake with sand toy gift and lots of snacks for her. Getting our car from valet was very easy and fast! They even provide you with bottle of water. We had lunch at Ferraros twice and it was amazing! Kids under the age of 4 eats free at Ferraros & DUO so our daughter gets to eat for free. She ordered the pasta which was delicious she finished the whole bowl. The sea food Cobb salad was refreshing and delicious! Pizza was also yummy! Breakfast at DUO was delicious! Lots of selections to choose from and there were coffee for you to get outside while you wait. Dinner at DUO was amazing as well! The 16 oz rib eyes was huge and tender! We also tried the lunch by the pool and they were yummy as well. The hotel was absolutely beautiful! When at pool or at beach, just let the staff know and they will set up chairs for you. There was Sunblock provided for you. The hotel was super kids friendly! So many amenities provided for kids which is lovely! We were out of diapers and they were able to bring us some! We came in the first week of December and the hotel was not crowded at all. Pool was beautiful and we were able to enjoy it every day without feeling crowded at all. They have car available to take you to places nearby if needed. Will definitely try it next time we come back. All the staff were friendly and nice. The whole experience was just amazing and we will definitely want to come back again!

Awful thanksgiving
Worst thanksgiving trip. Food was very mediocre. Extremely crowded. Service not personal or caring. We saw a woman get attacked by a pit bull at beach at 8am On a Saturday while building a sand castle with the kids. Alerted hotel staff and they said it's a public beach and couldn't do anything, not even call security. Felt so unsafe here and disregarded. Spa was being renovated and the temporary spa area was pathetic. Just 1 dirty cold plunge and 1 sauna in hot sun. Worst four seasons "spa." Do not honor AMX early check in. All service/experience felt so bare minimum. Couldn't relax here at all. Just counted down the days and wanted to leave. Worst FS experience yet. Will never come back.

Amazing
We had a great stay at this Four Seasons property in Maui. The staff at check-in were very friendly and courteous. After check-in we had an issue with the AC unit in our room. The service technician arrived promptly and attempted to repair the issue. While fixing the unit we were moved to another room down the hall for convience. We really enjoyed the view from our room. The pool deck cabanas were very comfortable and provided quick acess for a stroll on the beach. During our private event our server Merri was very impressive. She was very courteous and remembered our favorite sparkling water beverage at every meal and promptly provided refils. This level of service is a rarity and confirmed our amazing experience. All of our meals were great especially our private luau dinner and entertainment. This was our second stay at a Four Seasons and it exceeded expectations just like our first stay in Buenos Aires. Outstanding!!!
We are in the last couple of hours of our five days at this amazing resort. We spent every day at the adult pool with the absolutely amazing view. Pros: Adult Pool- Alex and Allen take the best care to find you the chairs of your choice. Wawie, Maxwell, Shayne, Makena, and Kimberly will serve up your beverages and food during the day and are extremely attentive and engaging. Rowena!!! The treat queen! Baked items early, juice of the day which we chose to add vodka to and afternoon cold cloths and popsicles. What else could you want. Yes get here early to get your chair but you can’t leave till 10 and can only be gone for an hour. It fills up fast and the waitlist typically begins about 11:30. Breakfast Buffet: We began each morning with the breakfast buffet which was included in our stay. Tons of options available. Food is hot and fresh. The staff: Jery, Volt, and Paul are the sweetest! Extremely attentive and full of knowledge. All of the staff here are amazing but these three took the best care of us every day. Ferraro’s: On our first day, we had lunch at this location which was yummy and on the second day we joined their champagne event. This was great!! Lobby Bar: we decided to enjoy drinks and food here and Amy took care of our order with the amazing support of Justin and Connor. This I believe is a great spot for the 5:30 torch lighting ceremony every evening and live music. The drinks were good. The food I believe could be better. We ordered the burger with half fries and onion rings but the fries arrived at dessert. They did take care of our dessert and drinks for our anniversary and for the error with our food. A must are the chips to start. Delish. Rooms: we were upgraded to the deluxe garden view room which had a partial ocean view. The rooms are amazing!!! The staff reorganized and cleaned these rooms amazingly and with the utmost care. We also received some chocolates and a bottle of bubbles for our anniversary celebration which was a nice touch. Staff: overall our experience with every single person was courteous and welcoming. From Sheri the shuttle driver to the concierge and every single person we encountered. With that said there are a couple areas that need work. For our checkin we were early as our flight got in at 11:30am. We were advised that they would text us and confirmed the number to text when our room was available. At about 2:20 I checked with the front desk and they advised they were wrapping up our room and they would text as soon as it was ready. Well the text never came when the room was ready at 2:30 and I found this out when I went to the front at 3:30 and found the room was ready. Later I found a message in the apps chat that came at 2:30 alerting me the room was ready but I would have not looked there since I was told I would be texted. One Other experience we had was on our last night we came back about 5:00 and went to the lobby bar to grab a cocktail. At the bar were 5 people seated. Three at one end and a space between and two other folks and then another space on their right. I went in between the two groups and was abruptly scolded by the bartender and told to move on the other side of the party of two to order as was the couple behind me. She then had the two groups move their chairs closer to close out the ability for folks to approach in this area. I view it as she was either irritated or irritating depending on which side of the bar you were standing on. This is not how I have experienced any other staff member on the five days I was here and it definitely caught me off guard but did not ruin the remainder of my encounters. Overall an amazing five star top notch experience. They made our anniversary celebration special and we will 100% be back.
