    Could have been better

    We stayed at this hotel twice. The first stay was great, it was for my birthday and a romantic getaway. The second stay was meh. Ordered in-room dining to be delivered at a certain hour, and got it delivered earlier while I wasn’t there. So the food was cold. But they resent the food and I appreciate that. There was a wedding at the same time and the hall was crowded so we had to wait in line to get the elevator. I heard other guests complaining too behind me. There was a day where the pool was super crowded and couldn’t get anyone to get our order. When I got the chance to ask for a drink, I had to ask three times before getting it. But food at the restaurant was good. It was really delicious!

    This will be our place next time we go back to Los Angeles. Perfect in any aspect.

    Splendid hotel with a perfect service, located in a quiet and upscale area. The room are perfect, and the lobby very pleasant. We met only nice people at this place. We also enjoyed all the restaurants where we went. Fantastic.

    Privacy please!

    After booking a premium balcony suite with breakfast we were disappointed by our stay. With only a one night stay we would have liked to enjoy our morning uninterrupted. However, house keeping came not once but twice, and even opened the door to come in. This is not what we would have expected with a 12pm check out to be interrupted twice in the morning. My partner has sleep apnea and has trouble sleeping as is. Make sure you put your privacy sign on!

    Four seasons is not the same anymore

    Four seasons new management is truly disappointing I made a Christmas Eve reservation weeks in advance and called the day before to reconfirm. I had asked for a specific table and they had confirmed it both times. When I arrived, there were two other people at the table I had requested, a table for four, and I was shown to an outside table where my guests, who had arrived a few minutes before me, were already seated. My reservation was for 6:30 so it's not like the evening had gotten out of control and the restaurant couldn't control the timing. There were many empty tables, both inside and out, at that hour. I told Erica, the woman who seated us, that we had been seated at the wrong table and had reserved table _____, inside. She was as snotty and officacious as could be. She snipped, "We don't guarantee specific tables here and that table has six at it." There was no apology, no offer to seat us at another table inside, nothing. The table I had reserved is not a table for six. It's a four top and there were only two at it anyway. It's absolutely not true that they don't reserve specific tables as I dine at the restaurant frequently and request specific tables all the time. They have always honored the table they have accepted the reservation for. If their policy was not to reserve a specific table then they wouldn't have taken the reservation for it, or confirmed it the night before, or they would have at least said, "We'll try, but we can't guarantee it." Her lack of graciousness really put a damper on what was supposed to be a special Christmas Eve. The food and service were very good, as always, but as we had reserved for inside none of us were dressed for outside and we were cold all evening, the heat lamps notwithstanding. One of our party ended up with a head cold today, the day after. After this experience, I would not plan a special evening at Culina again. It was a really disappointing way to start the holiday, especially at a restaurant of this caliber.

    WONDERFUL birthday staycay

    Me and my husband had the pleasure to staycay to celebrate my birthday at the beginning of November, everything was a breeze at check-in and they made sure to give us a room with a very special view to the Hollywood Hills, and after a short visit to the pool which by the way the service was amazing, we came back to our room to find a birthday amenity which was delicious, beds are comfy and the restaurant Culina is worth trying, I promised I was going to write this review earlier so I could thank everyone by name but I haven't had time to do it until now, keep the amazing work at your beautiful property!
