  Housekeeping stole wallet/broken car window/

We booked this hotel due to a baseball stay to play tournament. It was one of their selected hotels. Friday night one of our parents had her drivers side window shattered. We heard (after we were there) that a gang ritual was going on in the Polaris area. Had we know we would of went somewhere else. So of course we were all scared to leave our cars in the hotel parking lot. Then my sons wallet was stolen by housekeeping. I, 100% stand by this statement. There is no other possible solution then housekeeping stole it from my sons bag when it was sitting on the desk. It was there Saturday morning and when we got back to hotel our room was clean. We went home Saturday night (due to a tournament issue-another story) and he could not find his wallet. We looked through every bag, box, piece of laundry and car at least 5 times and it was no where to be found. Called hotel several times and they told me no one turned it in. After requesting to speak to manager I finally talked to one 4 days later and all she said was no one turned it in. Again 100% standing by that housekeeping stole his wallet and the $175 that was in it. Oh, and you have to pay for breakfast because they are too cheap to have it for free for people staying. Not happy with this hotel and our team will never come back

Not safe - do not stay

Worst place to stay - cars get broken into on a regular basis and the hotel has zero security

  Terrible Management

Everything good with the stay rooms are clean and comfortable but what I have to say is about the pre stay: I called several times and spoke with Marianna, always polite, friendly and willing to help. On my last call i spoke with Finika, that happen to be the manager, and she was rude and agressive, she even yelled at me. I can't find words to describe how i felt guilty for having doubts about my reservation and the hotel and I can't understand how someone with that kind of atitude can manage a property. I'll definetly escalate this to Marriott because no one has the right to treat other person the way i was treated by her, specially being a manager. For this I am giving one, and would give negative if possible.

Stuck in Elevator - Poor Response

The elevators are mechanically deficient. They are clunky, jerky start and stops and we actually were stuck in one for 30 minutes. The staff was not trained to open it (they were using a butter knife) but one of the dads traveling with us, who is a firefighter, happened to walk by and opened the door on the main floor for them but the staff didn’t inform them we were trapped on the elevator. So the staff called the fire department. They arrived and were able to get us out after 30 minutes. The hotel staff at the desk didn’t offer us any concessions but took out contact info for the manager. Two days later I had not heard from the manager so I called and left my info again. After 3 attempts to contact them with no success I filed a complaint with Marriott. Sadly Marriott did not follow up either. I had to make two calls to Marriott before I received any kind of concessions. After more than 3 weeks they finally gave me some points. Very disappointing.
