  We stayed at the Four Points for three nights in November 2024. Staff friendly upon arrival but unfortunately, the room was very basic and looking very tired. No decent view, the bed was uncomfortable, the shower and toilet very pokey. Breakfast was poor - the room was dark and dingy, the staff not overly polite and the choice of food limited. We had room service which was good - it arrived quickly and was tasty. Great location though with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Staff friendly and helpful upon departure.

  A perfect place to explore Brisbane from

  Lovely hotel in a very central area. Rooms were spotless and there was no noise from within the hotel. There is a bit of construction going on outside, but it ended in the evening and was no bother. Even though one of the lifts was not working, the other two did the job just fine and we never had to wait very long. Staff were all very helpful and friendly.

  Very noisy construction all night

  24 hour building site across the road. Dreadful noise and zero sleep. I hd no notice of this. Would maybe have been manageable with earplugs but I had no notice. Given the (very expensive) cost - not ok. Better if a hotel would warn you about this - and at least give free earplugs. Will never stay here again.

  Hit and miss service

  Found the service at this hotel to be hit and miss. Booked a 2 bedroom suite for self and family. Were able to check in slightly early for one of the bedrooms, however the main section of the suite was not ready at that time. Stall member at reception advised they would let us know once ready. Checked with reception around 3pm & were told not ready yet. Went for a walk came back to the hotel just after 5pm & were advised the room was ready. No call or text received from reception stall. Received a verbal apology from the staff for the delay, but no compensation offered, even though Gold Elite Member. We have previously stayed as a family in the 2 bedroom suite & had the same situation - room not ready until 4pm. That time we were given compensation for the delay as a Silver Elite Member. Seems to be the higher your Marriott Bonvoy status - the worse the service! On a positive note - the buffet breakfast & service from the restaurant staff is always excellent. Food on the buffet is good quality with great variety.

  Look around for somewhere else or call and see if they have nicer rooms.

  It’s a bit shabby and dated. I was keen to go there but wouldn’t go back until they make it nicer. So much accommodation is nearby that’s nicer for the same price. Staff were excellent and they helped with getting me a robe and blanket. Both were old but at least I was warm. Room service food was excellent - although no plates - eating from a box with bamboo cutlery. No construction noise and I appreciated that.
