Adorable Hilltop Villas
We loved staying at their villas. Our two-bedroom villa was clean and spacious, and had good amenities for our family of 4 (pots and pans, cups, toiletries, etc). The grounds are well maintained and beautiful. The pools were clean, the food at the restaurant was good, and the staff were friendly. Parking was easy and on-site. The coffee shop was an absolute joy. The staff were really accommodating (we have a gluten allergy in our group) and their food and drinks were excellent. We would absolutely stay here again next time we are in St Thomas.
Do not Book This!
This resort forces you to book through Expedia which is a problem. Our trip was disrupted by an AA flight cancellation and a subsequent delay of THREE DAYS. As we only had a 6 day trip scheduled we had to return home. I immediately contacted both the resort and Expedia for the cancellation. What should have happened was Expedia contacts the resort and cancels and then the resort agrees to issue a refund. This according to the resort manager, who was OUT ON LEAVE when our trip was disrupted. So what do you think happened? First, I'm pretty sure Expedia lost my first contact, which was the day I returned home. I fought with them for weeks, where they finally communicated to me the resort denied the refund. Again the resort manager was out on leave so I'm pretty sure that didn't go as planned. I thought - no worries, we have trip insurance through Expedia. Surely trip insurance covers a flight disruption? Nope. It would have covered a hijacked plane! but not a significant delay from AA. So no insurance. I now sit here 3 months later - no refund, no insurance and no trip. I tried last resort disputing my credit card and Expedia once again has screwed me on that. DO NOT BOOK THIS RESORT as they FORCE YOU TO BOOK THROUGH EXPEDIA!! Do not book through Expedia!! As an Expedia stockholder I'm disgusted by the overall experience and will be selling as soon as this market recovers.
Great except for the shower
We stayed here because of its location to Magens Bay. We are regulars to the USVI so we have realistic expectations of local hotels. Loved the views of Magens Bay from the balcony. Pool area was very nice. Parking was great. Really enjoyed everything about this hotel… except our shower didn’t have enough water pressure to wash our hair and we had no hot water. We didn’t mention it to front desk, we just made do the best we could. I still think we would stay here again
We have nothing but good things to say about this place!!!! Everyone is so friendly and helpful, coffee shop and restaurant were both amazing, awesome staff! Shout out to Makia, nick, Paige, Gavin, big wheel, and everyone else!!!!! Can't wait to come back! Oh, and the view is amazing!
A Wonderful Place To Stay
Can’t say enough of good things. From the amazing front desk staff of Teddi, Carla and Wanda. Root 42 restaurant the service and food was excellent. Jaime and her staff are awesome. The view of Meagan’s Bay was breathtaking. Definitely would recommend a stay here.
