Dec 21, 2025Unauthorized charges
Hotel stay: December 16th and 17th 2025 My husband and I stayed at the Blue Flamingo Hotel Keywest, FL (24 North Hotel KW) to celebrate his birthday. We booked our original registration through a third party vendor. The only charges that were outstanding were the $50 per day resort fee and any incidental charges (if applicable), When we arrived, my husband asked did they have an ocean view room and told no. The front desk attendant (gentleman from Cancun) informed they had a 6th floor pool view room. My husband, front desk attendant, and I walked to the room to see if we were interested. On multiple occasion we told the attendant that we were not willing to pay an upcharge for a 6th floor room, that you can only see the pool if you walk outside and look over the balcony. The front desk attendant (from Cancun) advised that he would extend the room with no additional charges due to being my husband's birthday. Despite a verbal agreement with the front desk attendant, upon check out, we were charged an addition $160 ($80 per day). We brought the error to “allege” manager, Joel, he refused to contact his staff member (not sure of name, but Joel was there and aware) to clarify the situation and became belligerent. We were very clear that we would not pay extra for pool view, yet the hotel charged us anyway. We spent our entire day at the beach (ocean). We are disappointed in the lack of professional integrity and seeking a full refund for unauthorized charges.

The resort is very beautiful! There are large swimming pools and lots of palm trees and pretty landscaping. The staff is friendly and attentive. I enjoyed the breakfast at the poolside restaurant and liked that there’s a Starbucks in the hotel. The hotel pricing was good. We took the free shuttle downtown each day to save money on parking. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large and clean!

Really Good
I stayed at the Blue Flaming the first week of December, its a great week to go to the keys because it has a lot of cheaper prices not being Thxgvg or New years. I tried the BF because the room rate was really, really good. I was very happy with my stay. Very good amenities, the standard room was just fine, 2 pools, 2 cabana tiki bars, a big lawn area to relax with your drink, have a cigar and think about the world. There is a Starbucks on site, ample parking, and the staff was very nice. Overall, just a cool stay. I would go back again.

Nice property at a reasonable price
We stayed at Blue Flamingo Resort at Key West for 4 nights in early December. We booked it online directly on the company website and was able to get a pretty decent deal with parking included. They have two pools with plenty of lounge chairs and for rent cabanas. There are a lot of games for family to do around the property. The property is clean and well maintained. Our room has a King bed and a sofa with tables to spread out. The room is spacious with nice decors. It has a small fridge with coffee maker, no microwave. A nice closet off to the side of the restroom for plenty of luggage space and clothes. The free shuttle provided by the hotel has limited hours and services. We ended up using Uber and Old Town Trolley to go to the Old Town and back. It was a nice stay overall.

Dec 07, 2025Money, Money, Money. If you ain't got it, don't stay here.
Warning! It's gonna cost you $60 a night more than the advertised price. They have a hefty "resort fee" plus $15 a day for parking in a non gated non secure side of the road parking lot. If you're OK with the $235 a night it ends up being g, it's wonderful. Well, unless you want ice. I only found one ice machine in the entire place, 3 buildings, restaurants, pools, Starbucks, but only 1 ice machine a mile away from our room. But the place is gorgeous, clean, expensive $16 drinks. $35 meals. But like I said if you don't care about the money, it's fantastic. Not as good as Hyatt. Paid $250 a night for that in Clearwater but 0 complaints. Their free horseshoes were almost worth the price. Blue flamingo doesn't give you horseshoes. Just ear plugs. They're in a cute case.
