  Nice property at a reasonable price

  We stayed at Blue Flamingo Resort at Key West for 4 nights in early December. We booked it online directly on the company website and was able to get a pretty decent deal with parking included. They have two pools with plenty of lounge chairs and for rent cabanas. There are a lot of games for family to do around the property. The property is clean and well maintained. Our room has a King bed and a sofa with tables to spread out. The room is spacious with nice decors. It has a small fridge with coffee maker, no microwave. A nice closet off to the side of the restroom for plenty of luggage space and clothes. The free shuttle provided by the hotel has limited hours and services. We ended up using Uber and Old Town Trolley to go to the Old Town and back. It was a nice stay overall.

  Money, Money, Money. If you ain't got it, don't stay here.

  Warning! It's gonna cost you $60 a night more than the advertised price. They have a hefty "resort fee" plus $15 a day for parking in a non gated non secure side of the road parking lot. If you're OK with the $235 a night it ends up being g, it's wonderful. Well, unless you want ice. I only found one ice machine in the entire place, 3 buildings, restaurants, pools, Starbucks, but only 1 ice machine a mile away from our room. But the place is gorgeous, clean, expensive $16 drinks. $35 meals. But like I said if you don't care about the money, it's fantastic. Not as good as Hyatt. Paid $250 a night for that in Clearwater but 0 complaints. Their free horseshoes were almost worth the price. Blue flamingo doesn't give you horseshoes. Just ear plugs. They're in a cute case.

  AMAZING STAY!!! CUTE & CLEAN!!

  The Blue flamingo is an excellent hotel! Very clean, newly renovated! Beds were very comfortable. 2 pools which were well maintained and not overly crowded. The bar was great with live music nightly. The food truck had very good food- the Cuban sandwich and pizza was outstanding!! Made to order breakfast every morning was very good! Free shuttles to old town- must book ahead of time! Everyone that worked here was extremely friendly and helpful! Front desk clerk Shanea went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Don’t hesitate to book this hotel!!!

  Worst experience ever at a resort

  Worst experience while being on vacation at any resort. Kids allowed in bar area and no cameras to monitor. Some kid took something my wife said out of context and we were harrassed by security, no support from hotel staff, police called in to basically come to the conclusion that nothing happened. Poor parenting listening to their lying kids. I checked out that same night as my wife was feeling very uncomfortable and they do not even want to issue a credit. They charge $15 daily for you to park your car on a dirt lot, rooms are not sound proof, you hear everything going on upstairs, closet inside the bathroom, "ocean view" rooms have noisy car traffic, elavators slow, night manager is a joke, overpriced, they throw a bunch of games in the yard and call it full blown resort, overpriced, people look elsewhere, worst place I have ever stayed at.

  Renovation complete nice clean property good staff friendly location on bay not near center about 3 miles back Key West wonderful Fed Rosters all over nice touch
