  AMAZING STAY!!! CUTE & CLEAN!!

  The Blue flamingo is an excellent hotel! Very clean, newly renovated! Beds were very comfortable. 2 pools which were well maintained and not overly crowded. The bar was great with live music nightly. The food truck had very good food- the Cuban sandwich and pizza was outstanding!! Made to order breakfast every morning was very good! Free shuttles to old town- must book ahead of time! Everyone that worked here was extremely friendly and helpful! Front desk clerk Shanea went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Don’t hesitate to book this hotel!!!

  Worst experience ever at a resort

  Worst experience while being on vacation at any resort. Kids allowed in bar area and no cameras to monitor. Some kid took something my wife said out of context and we were harrassed by security, no support from hotel staff, police called in to basically come to the conclusion that nothing happened. Poor parenting listening to their lying kids. I checked out that same night as my wife was feeling very uncomfortable and they do not even want to issue a credit. They charge $15 daily for you to park your car on a dirt lot, rooms are not sound proof, you hear everything going on upstairs, closet inside the bathroom, "ocean view" rooms have noisy car traffic, elavators slow, night manager is a joke, overpriced, they throw a bunch of games in the yard and call it full blown resort, overpriced, people look elsewhere, worst place I have ever stayed at.

  We were coning to Key West with friends on Key West Express from Fort Myers. Our trip was planned for Nov 11-13. On the 10th we received word from Key West Express the trip for 11th was canceled because of high winds and surf. I immediately called the hotel but apparently got the call center. They were not willing to work anything g out, canceled the reservation and would be charged $157 cancellation fee. My friend talked to someone else and was willing to move dates. We rebooked the boat and after almost 2 hours on the phone, I was able to get to the same person my friend talked to. They reinstated my original reservation and rebooked us for Nov 13-15. We arrive at the hotel. I was told my reservation was canceled and nothing was rebooked. Janae at the desk was very friendly and understanding as i explained the situation. We were supposed to have a pool view room but none were ready so we got ocean view (which is overlooking the hwy-noisy all night). The next day we were away from the hotel all day. When we returned our rooms weren’t even serviced. Ironically, we both recd texts from hotel asking how things were rating 1-4. We both recd immediate response. We were at the pool and Joel (Sr Operations Mgr) come out. We explained the whole situation. He said he will take a look at things and get back to us. He came and found us and assured us we would bot be charged the canc fee and made a couple other accommodations. He was very professional and attentive to make sure our stay was satisfactory. Thank you Joel for taking care of us. For future reference, if your call is directed to a call center, ask to be transferred back to the hotel to book your reservation.

  This hotel was amazing. The best pool I've ever been in and it's open to 11:00 p.m. the staff was amazing the breakfast was amazing anything you needed or wanted they were Johnny on the spot
