Stayed here for a trip to Universal's Horrors Unleashed. I understand its a budget hotel, and I like the themeing.. but when I found gum behind my pillow after laying down, I was super grossed out. That either meant my pillows werent changed out, or that housekeeping saw it and covered it up. Other than that, it was okay aside from check-in issues and an occasional bartender giving us poor service because we look young.

Check in went in very smooth no problem. The groom had a great view. We were on the 26th floor looking at the strip. We checked in Monday and left Thursday. With myself and my daughter. Good experience, but the room did have a smell and the bathroom could’ve been a little bit cleaner, but I I wish the room did not have a smell. I did not bring any Febreze or anything I could not get rid of it, but I know the hotel is old, but maybe you could work on it. I do appreciate your accommodations. I don’t know if I will book another trip there. Thank you again.

We booked this hotel because we had a cheer competition at Mandalay Bay. This hotel was more than half the price of Mandalay Bay. There is a tram that connects, which is really convenient. Be aware of tram hours. It does not run 24 hours. I had read reviews that rooms were remodeled. I think this is only the Resort tower. We stayed in the Royal tower and everything was older and more dated. However, for the price, I won't complain. There's a Starbucks and plenty of restaurants/ casual eatery options. This location is far from the main part of the strip, but do your research on where you want to go. I noticed also that this hotel wasn't as crowded as other ones, which was nice. All hotels don't have a fridge, microwave or coffee machine. This isn't because this is a value hotel. I don't think it's fair to dock scores based on this. I didn't get a chance to check out the arcade or the Tournament, but I think those are things worth mentioning that are available. If you need a decent place to stay overnight, this will do the trick.

Just got back from Las Vegas and a stay at the Excalibur. Although it is an older resort and the rooms are dated, They are very clean and the beds are super comfortable. We only use the room to sleep and shower and get ready for our next adventure. The staff there were very helpful anytime that we interacted with them. I don’t mind walking so even though the location is near the end of the strip, I don’t mind it.

Cheap but smelly
Price is hard to beat but even the renovated rooms are smelly and looked old. Everyone we encountered were very friendly.
