May 29, 2023Best Dominican Mother’s Day weekend stay at Emotions Juan Dolio
I visited Emotions again this weekend, this time for Dominican Mother's Day with my family, and we had a blast! The various teams that support the resort were excellent! I felt like we arrived at home. As a member of Elite Collection, I was assisted by Silvia, Genaro and Catherine for reservations and day passes for my family that live in DR, and they exceeded our expectations. We had the best rooms yet, all really great, but this topped it off! The staff at the restaurants off and at the beach (Miguel, Jose, Windy, Roberto, Salatiel, among many others), those helping with room maintenance (Raquel), valet parking and luggage handlers (Edward and others), security (Michael), greeters around reception (Kenty, Rafael), and many more that I miss their names but I remember their faces and how hospitable they are. I highly recommended this resort for families and friends.

May 28, 2023Very rude checkin definitely a place to avoid in juan dolio
Check in is horrible we pre paid on there website and the first thing they say we owe them another 70 dollars because we paid with credit card and at that time the exchange rate was lower so with todays exchange rate you owe us another 70 dollars it was a take it or leave it scenario the checkin girl was very rude with if you want to leave right now you owe us a nite so you would be out 200 dollars totally insane i never experienced this at any hotel anywhere around the world you pay in full on line and that should be it not this place.hotel is situated weirdly as your rooms are in one area and then to access beach and buffet and restaurants you walk out of property and go across street where you entered and checked in food was the same thing every day except Friday no seasonings at all everything bland with no salt it was so bad we left the property and drove to dominos pizza i talked to several European people that were there for two weeks and they all said the same they were tired of eating the same exact thing everyday with no flavor whatever they have in there restaurants is what they have at the buffet .rooms were small and the electricity would go out every day for at least 10 minutes we stayed during new years and during the new years eve party the electricity went out and we are all in the dark on the beach definitely a place to avoid

I practically live in D.R. half of the year so this will be very different than most. When I am there I cherish the "authentic" experiences (including the less sought after factors). It keeps me balanced. THIS PLACE HAS IT. Nothing I can stand more than a "tourist" resort that over-compensates and compromises the natural culture. This place is not as High-End but it is more laid back and less uptight. That being said you get a better value and also get to see what the country is like in reality (to an extent). We needed a break from the monotony so we stayed a few days to relax. The beach is relaxing and pristine. We went during a down time so there were more locals doing daily routines. The food was better than expected for the value of the price but the menu was not as expansive as other high-end resorts. Over-all we like the place a lot.

My vacations with my family with Elite Collection at Emotions Juan Dolio
My vacation in may was excellent. The elite collection club are great staff. I was very happy with their sevice and give them 5 stars. The VIP Opus bar Jose Frias is a great bartender and guy. Awesome service. Elias my concierge was always very attentive to make sure we get our reservations set and gave us everything we needed. Silvia Elite is very nice she always made sure we were covered in everything. The whole staff is very friendly and enjoy their job. I love this place because i felt good and i will always recommend someone to this emotions. I will definitely come back always to this one in juan dolio.

Marianny and Franklin were amazing! They provided great entertainment for everyone in the resort, super friendly and fun! They out of their way to make connections with all guest and know everyone by name! I would go back just to see them again!
