An attractive hotel with issues
This hotel has a beautiful atrium filled with plants, and the views from the room are wonderful. The free buffet breakfast with an omelette bar is typical Embassy Suites fare, which is a good thing. Unfortunately, the hotel seems to be a bit neglected. First, the rooms are in need of a renovation, with furniture that is clearly very old. In my room, the shower leaked even when the water was turned off, and the liquid soap dispenser in the shower was empty. (There were no bars of soap, either.) We had inquired about the shuttle at the front desk, and no mention was made of a fee. Only when we were about to get on did the driver tell us that we had to pay $5/person at the front desk. When we went to do so, the shuttle pulled away with our luggage, and I had to go running after it. I hope that this hotel can get its act together.

Disappointing
Hotel is not bad. Needs some detailing cleaning work. DO NOT RELY ON THEIR SHUTTLE TO GET YOU TO THE AIRPORT ON TIME, it arrived 20 minutes late and then made an additional stop that was not disclosed before hand. Overall disappointing and it feels like a soulless corporate hotel

Va transport to airport is unsafe no shocks slamming and shaking up and down needs repair or replacement.
The van they provide to take you to the airport is in disrepair. It has no shocks at the slightest bump it lifts up and slams down with a bang shaking ones whole body and spinal cord. The bus lifts up and down like a bucking bronco. Even going on a flat street from terminal 1 to terminal 3 slamming and shaking up and down worst then a bus in a 3rd world country. I have just recovered from a compression fraction being slammed down like that could cause another compression fracture. This is no exaggeration the van is in disrepair and unsafe. It is the responsibility of the hotel to provide safe transport to the airport. They are probably unaware of this and the bus company is getting a way with providing unsafe transport. I’ve left 2messages with Kevin the manager of the hotel but he has not bothered to return my call. If my X-rays show a fracture I will take legal action. I could have easily taken an Uber and been safe. I trusted Hilton when I got on that van and was hurt unnecessarily. Also right now someone else is riding that van and getting shaken up and the hotel is not doing anything about it. It appears that the manager is over looking important details like this. If you have back issues or are elderly don’t take their van. This was a terrible way to end my vacation being slammed up and down by a van that should not even be in service.

Nice Hotel but Issues Are Present
I stayed at the Embassy Suites by Hilton San Francisco Airport Waterfront at the end of March 2023. I was there as a chaperone with a school group. I am giving this review as a parent, but also as a travel agent who specializes in incentive group travel. Our group arrived well past check-in time and deep into the evening. Several in our group were without rooms for a couple of hours. Part of the delay was due to last-minute changes , a poorly coordinated travel manager and staff, and rooms not being ready. It was a very long, frustrating evening. Eventually, everything was resolved and everyone got their room. I love the breakfast Embassy Suites provides and this hotel delivered a great one. Even though there were at least two, large school groups staying at this property, the lines went quickly, food was plentiful and there was enough seating available. My room, as well as others, had air conditioners that did not cool the room down. I ended up leaving my balcony door open to cool off. The room and bathroom were clean when I arrived. Aside from the stuffy room, the bed was comfortable, the mini fridge worked and there was ample space. I left a small bag in my room bedside table. It contained three or four pairs of earbuds, some charging cables and wood reflexology balls among other items. I called the hotel from the road, about 15 minutes after departure, but was told they would have to wait for housekeeping to be done turning over the rooms. They took my number but did not called back. I called again a few months later and was put through to housekeeping. I left a message and the housekeeping manager called me back. She said there was nothing like my bag that was reported found in any rooms that day. I have my truly doubts… Overall, my experience was positive, but I feel that this Embassy Suites property has some work to do.

Close to SFO
This is my favorite hotel near SFO. 5 min drive to the airport. Everything about this hotel makes me want to stay there again: bay views, walking path, clean room, cooked to order breakfast & cocktails.
