Great for short trips
Came down to Portland from Seattle for a basketball tournament. While this hotel was a bit far from where the boys played their games, it was still nice to fit all the boys in one hotel for team development. Overall the hotel is good and convenient for short stays. It has its own gated parking lot but it gets full fast towards the end of the day. They host their regular free happy hour around 5pm and breakfast was also included with our stay.

A great spot to stay
We were in town for the Formula E race, and chose this hotel due to location. Eoom was clean and nice, breakfast was very nice. I just wish daily maid service was back, and Dr. Pepper was stocked. Overall a nice place to stay, nice lobby area, and not too much airport noise.

Will Stay Again
Upon our arrival was greeted by a staff member and quickly checked into our room. Elevators were great (glass) and you could see the beautiful lobby all the way to your room level. The room was spacious, clean and met and exceeded all of our expectations. Also they have security on the grounds to keep you safe. So close to the airport and so easy to get there. Took us about 5 minutes to check our rental car in. Would highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely stay there any time I go home to visit my family.

Not a safe place to stay
Just a short heads up, I don’t have high expectations from any airport hotel, they are always ridden hard. So lack of cleanliness moldy shower curtains etc., are sort of the norm and all of those are present here. However beware of this one for the following reasons: There have been shootings at this hotel recently, there are now armed guards at night. There is also a parking lot gate system, that does not work. If you are arriving at the airport you need to call for the shuttle it does not cycle around the airport. It does not appear to have any airline employees as guests (always a bad sign.) Despite the listed amenities the hotel does not actually have air conditioning, they have heat and “cooling.” For this reason if you like to sleep cold, stay away or at least never accept a room on the higher floors. Additionally, don’t pay extra for the premium rooms, it is supposed to be stocked with snacks and drinks, I was told they don’t do that anymore since COVID but you can ask for a bag of chips or a candy bar at the front desk. For the price difference you can buy a lot of those things at the lobby shop and still save money. In general this is not the safest hotel to stay in near the airport and several important amenities don’t exist, even if advertised. Finally this is an airport hotel and the airport shuttle is unreliable.

Cool place to stay near the airport, but the room descriptions should be updated!
The place was across the street from the airport which worked out for us. I paid for a "mountain view" suite but the room looked directly out to a building across the parking lot. According to the staff they haven't updated their room descriptions. That being said I was charged an upgrade fee to move to a higher floor but was put in a corner unit that had half of the view blocked by the side of the hotel itself. All and all if I wasn't particular about the view it would have been fine. That being said, I paid for the view and then paid for the upgrade which I still wasn't pleased with.
