Our 2nd stay was as good as the 1st one! ---A very good value for a hotel in this area.
We stayed here twice now...... primarily because we can easily walk to the cruise port with 4 wheeled suitcases (and we are both over 80 years old). It is also convenient to the Riverwalk, Aquarium, streetcars, and restaurants. Our 2 stays were both for 4 nights. The free breakfast was good, and we also liked the Manager's Hour at night for snacks and complimentary drinks. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were especially impressed by Aaron at the front desk. Rooms are very big. We had the King Suite with 2 TVs, a view and small balcony, refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave. The location felt safe. In 5 minutes I could walk to the Riverwalk Mall and get Cane's chicken fingers for lunch. They are SO good! There is also a small convenience store at the next street corner. Our room was clean and quiet. There are 2 elevators. We have stayed at many other hotels in NOLA before finding this one, and we feel it gives us everything we want in a hotel for about half of what we paid at the others which we did not like nearly as well. We will stay here again on our next trip to NOLA.

Enjoyed our stay!
Marvin was the best! Very kind and helpful. He gave us a list of nearby restaurants to try (Mulates was one that we loved, absolutely amazing food and great customer service). Can’t thank him enough for making our stay at The Embassy a great one! Will be back soon! :))

The Best Embassy Stay to date
This was a weekend getaway/birthday museum trip for myself that turned crazy due to winter storm disruptions making it hard for me to get home for a week. My luggage was lost and it seemed to be one issue after the other. I initially stayed at the Homewood suites. Unfortunately there was a huge lack of hospitality and Accountability. I then tried out the Embassy Suites and ran in a major issue. However, that problem was nothing for the staff. They took my concerns to heart and overwhelmingly went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed and that any and all of my safety concerns were addressed and handled expediently. Michelle was who worked over night was highly responsive and made herself available which speaks alot for a night auditor! Nicholas, Aaron and Marvin continually checked on me making me feel very at home. Even the chief maintenance engineer was warm and welcoming. Also, I loved Ashley in the breakfast area. The rooms are on the dated side with some major wear however the cleanliness makes them decent enough to stand until renovations take place. The evening reception was very nice with the host being just as pleasant as the rest of the staff. I look forward to staying on my next visit
