Cruise embarkment stay
The hotel rooms definitely need updating. I also had to ask multiple times for requested items like towels and extra linen. I could tell the front desk was well trained but they could have used more staff. The breakfast was really good and I was amazed at how the two ladies were handling the long omelette line. I did feel some tension when communicating with some of the front desk staff. Another time one hispanic guy appeared to be very high on the evening of August 19. My travel partner asked him if we was okay. I went down again later and he was functioning but appeared to be very high and nonchalant. I definitely would not stay here again prior to a cruise, but would stay another time. Also the entire first floor was wet and slippery. The night prior I assumed it was from the pool use, but the floors were extremely wet and slippery the next morning. There was a man drying the floor but as soon as he dried it, the moisture would reappear. Definitely a safety hazard. It is a huge establishment with a high volume of customers so overall the stay was fair. Our carnival celebration embarkment was delayed by 4 hours so I am happy they allowed us to wait in the lobby. Requests for a paid late check out were declined by the front desk and they said the reason was the housekeeping manager declined late checkouts.

Avoid this hotel, please trust me
I am a Diamond Hilton member who travels quite a bit and always stayed at Hilton or embassy suites. I’m reconsidering that now. This hotel has a great lobby and breakfast was awesome. That’s the end of the good things. We got it late and tired so we hardly noticed the smell of urine in the linens. I though it was my daughter but she slept with a diaper which was dry and the smell was not in the sheets but in the covers. I called the front desk and they said they would take care of it. I was happy and we left for the day. When we got back nothing had been done and the front desk people told me they only change linens after 5 days of stay. I asked them to change my urine smelling linens and they ignored me. I called Hilton to make a complaint and then the front desk calls me to apologize but they only bring the covers for me to change them. The next morning after I once again complained due to construction noise above my room at 8am they tell me they could do nothing but that due to my previous complaint they would service my room. When we got back that night nothing had been done again. I booked using points (fully paid) and once I left I had a $350 charge with no explanation. These people are crooks and dirty. I may never stay in Hilton hotels again not because of they rooms but because of how my family and I were treated. I will post my conversations with them. I was always respectful, never yelled and still they treated me like hell.

Great stay
Faye was very helpful and nice at the front desk. The pool was clean and the happy hour is very good. You also get a made to order breakfast in the morning which includes an omelet station if needed. I would definitely recommend the hotel.

avoid this place
I regret to say that my recent stay at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Miami International Airport was an incredibly disappointing and unpleasant experience. The hotel's numerous shortcomings made it clear that it does not meet the standards one would expect from a reputable brand like Hilton. First and foremost, the condition of the rooms was far from satisfactory. They appeared old and poorly maintained, leaving me questioning the cleanliness of the entire place. The clogged shower drain was not only inconvenient but also unhygienic, adding to the discomfort of the stay. The bed sheets were a major concern as well. They looked crumpled and unwashed, raising doubts about whether they were actually replaced between guests. Such negligence towards basic room upkeep is unacceptable. The service at the hotel was equally disappointing. The staff seemed overwhelmed, and the check-in process was plagued by a long waiting queue. The lack of well-trained personnel was evident, as their attentiveness and responsiveness were sorely lacking. One of the most significant issues during my stay was the extreme noise level throughout the hotel. The walls seemed to be paper-thin, making the rooms sound-transparent. Conversations and noises from neighboring rooms could be heard clearly, making it nearly impossible to rest or sleep peacefully. Considering the overall poor quality of the rooms, lackluster service, and the unbearable noise levels, I strongly advise against choosing the Embassy Suites by Hilton Miami International Airport for your stay. There are undoubtedly better options available in the area that provide a more pleasant and enjoyable experience.

Avoid for any reason.
Everything about this hotel has been horrible. I stepped off the airplane and called them for the shuttle, as instructed by the text they sent. Waited and waited on the shuttle. Only to have one pull up and not be able to transport my mother on a wheelchair that I told them about. Waited longer in the heat and humidity for them to send a shuttle with a lift. Arrive to check in and was told my room type was second on the list to be ready. 2.5 hours later and still waiting for the text. Hundreds of people waiting inside lobby with their bags for the same text. There is a constant line to check in from the shuttles dropping off people. TWO people working to check people in. I called the hotel and asked why only two people were trying to check in a never ending line of people and the reply was , “Excuse me?”! In the meantime, we go to their restaurant and it takes two hours and fifteen minutes to get food and bill. Never offered a refill or asked if we needed anything. Done with Hilton properties.
