I read a couple of Google reviews before booking a room for my weekend trip and was a bit hesitant, but I ended up booking anyway due to how conveniently close the hotel is to the airport—and of course, because I love Embassy Suites. Check-in was smooth. The gentleman at the front desk was great and got me checked in in less than 10 minutes. However, he did forget my Hilton welcome gift, despite me being a loyal Hilton Honors member. Upon arriving at our King Suite with a baggage cart, we could barely fit the cart through the room to unload our luggage. I had to rearrange all the furniture in the living room just to fit six able-bodied humans plus our bags. The poles on the baggage carts were so old that my hands smelled rusty afterward. It’s definitely time for some new baggage carts at El Segundo, Mr. Hilton. My main concern with the room was the bathroom. It was extremely small—when opening the bathroom door, it was only a few inches away from the toilet. I had to step inside and move to the side just to close the door before using the bathroom or shower. On top of that, the metal shower drain cover came off and the water drained very slowly. Unfortunately, I’m not sure what feedback could help here, as there doesn’t seem to be much wiggle room with the suite’s layout. Breakfast was great, especially the seasoned eggs. However, upon entering the breakfast area, I was asked to show my breakfast card, which I had left in my room. I assumed I would need to take the elevator back up to retrieve it, but the employee was kind enough to let my daughter and me pass. Perhaps using a tablet with room numbers and guest names would be a better alternative than disposable breakfast paper cards. Save the trees (sarcasm). Lastly, I want to give a huge shoutout to Stephen and Chenise with HGV. They approached my 2-year-old and me while we were enjoying snacks in the lobby and were extremely thorough in explaining how the vacation packages work. They truly sold me on it. I didn’t feel rushed at all and fully understood the entire process. I did compliment them in person, but I also want to give them both a 10/10 rating. Stephen did a wonderful job keeping my 2-year-old occupied while Chenise continued to explain everything clearly and professionally—thank you both! Managers, if possible, I highly recommend sending Stephen and Chenise to other Embassy Suites throughout California (or even other states). They are hands down the BEST salespeople I’ve encountered, and if growing business is the goal, you’ll definitely achieve it with Chenise and Stephen.

Horrible check-in, line was 15 people long with kids buying individual bottles of soda, only one person on the desk, each little transaction took severalminutes while we waited to check I as Hilton Honors guests, but no separate line for Hilton Honors available.

Best Hotel in the South Bay by LAX
This hotel has a special p place in my heart. I have stayed here in this hotel several times and the employees here are very professional Adolfo Muller from the front desk Nestor from the restaurant and especially Maria and Evangelina from the happy hour buffet.

Good place for flight layover
Good place for overnight layover. Free transport to and from airport at convenient times, comfy beds, decent restaurant, quiet even though near airport. Don’t let the fact that you have to take hotel shuttle (free) to and from scare you away

Friendly, great breakfast!
Great experience, everyone is friendly. Breakfast was great. Patrick greeted us and we felt welcome. He also gave us points for our stay and offered other accommodations opportunity for other cities we may stay next. We had a great stay. Thank you!
