Great view in the country. I will come back for my leisure for sure. Thank you very much for great hospitality Close to conveniences and good location for traveling around the city. Will come back for sure

Great Hotel
Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. Very good food, especially breakfast. The room is comfortable, spacious and very clean. I highly recommend it. The hotel does not have a beach but it is perfect if you need to be in the city.

Luxurious and Clean Accommodations with Friendly Service
I stayed at this hotel while on a work trip, and the accommodations exceeded my expectations. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was also helpful that most staff speak more English than I speak Spanish. The hotel was very clean, the food was good, and the atmosphere is nice. I'll be staying here again during my next visit in-town for work.

Holding money on cards
This hotel has taken our money and is not returning it. We paid for a room and immediately cancelled as we made an error in the booking. We called them to confirm the error and they agreed they would not charge us for the room. They confirmed in email they would NOT charge. They did charge. We emailed them twice to say you have charged us and you said you would not. NO reply. We arrived at the hotel for our stay and suggested as they had not refunded us (10 days had passed) they use the other room as credit. they refused to use the other room as a credit towards a new room. Saying “you will be refunded in 10 days” (that’s another 10 days) and we had to pay again for another room. It has already been 10 days since they took the money. So where is our refund?? After a long time asking for them to use the money they had taken (which they said they wouldn’t) for the new room we gave up and produced another card for them to take a new booking. Thousands of ££. They took another “holding” charge from my other card while we waited for a room. Then due to having a bad feeling we decided to leave (10 min after producing the second card ) I was assured the new hold money would not come out of my account and would be refunded immediately. - but yes it HAS been placed on hold and frozen in my account. Here 6 days later it is still not released! We have emailed the hotel about this and no reply. This hotel is holding two large payments and we still have no money back. Everyone says “it’s a process” to get a refund. Won’t get a manager to resolve it. Won’t put us through to accounts. And we followed your process - after you confirmed on email you would not take money - and yet 15 days later we have no money. The hotel has told us another 10 days and the first refund should be back. We will see. The second amount remains held and currently no response from the hotel about it. This is not a 5 star hotel. This response is unacceptable.

Exceptional Stay
This was my first time staying at the El Embajador in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and the experience was amazing. The service from the front desk receptionist to the bellhop set the tone for what we had in store. Victor the front desk manager treated us with such professionalism and care. The rooms was extremely clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff on our floor was extremely friendly and helpful. The bed as well as the pillows were really comfortable. Which is very important for someone like me that stands all day giving presentations. Special thanks to Juan Martínez and Mariano Ortega for their gold star service and treatment with me and my wife.
