Feb 09, 2026The best decision was to stay here with my family. Which beautiful area of the kids to play and run the food was great
The garden is so beautiful and well maintained, the greenery is so relaxing the pool area is so beautiful and peaceful the restaurant is amazing for breakfast. We rented a car and parking was always available in a secure location and easy to use. I’ll definitely will be going back with my family next year. If you want to visit places in Santo Domingo, El Embajador is near everything so great location

A truly pleasurable stay
I loved everything about this hotel, from the welcome at arrival, smooth check in process, friendly staff making sure I had everything I needed. The room was amazing, more than I needed, it definitely exceeded my expectations.

Family trip to wedding.
Selected this hotel based on reviews and its proximity to wedding venue in addition to church. Loved the hotel’s lobby and its rustic decor of the restaurants surrounded by beautiful greenery. The pool was of adequate size. Although my wife and I didn’t have the opportunity to go to the Spa, our sons and their spouses did and loved the services they received. We definitely look forward to return to this hotel when we re-visit Santo Domingo.

Royal Level Suites
We booked the Royal Level suites and it didn't disappoint. The room was exceptionally appointed and personnel in the Royal Level suites were very friendly, professional and attentive. In particular Stivinson and Jacinto who really made us feel welcome, they are both a credit to the Royal Level and we fully appreciated their attentive and highly professional service. The Royal Level offered a private lounge with an a la carte breakfast, there is nothing they couldn't bring to us. The light snacks were a perfect combination of savoury and sweet. The coffee and beverages were very pleasant and the free bar was free flowing. We could not have asked for anything more but Stivinson and Jacinto's professional service made it extra special.

Really nice room, great price
My husband and I got a wonderful room on the 5th floor of the Hotel El Embajador. It was nicer than I had expected and the service in the hotel was excellent. The room was very clean and the bed and linens were very comfortable. The value for the quality of our room was extremely reasonable.
