    Amazing Place! Another Fantastic 10 Days Holiday at Palms!

    We’ve had another fantastic 10 days holiday at El Dorado Palms. The weather has been great and the evenings have been comfortable to sit on the beach and watch the entertainment, such as the fire show which was spectacular. A special thanks goes to the beach butlers Clevin and Gabriel, who’ve always found us a space on the beach! To the waitresses like Lurdy who’ve helped keep our fluids up throughout the day, Sprite only of course! To the butlers Ana, Azael, Alturo and Julian who’ve made our stay so memorable including help to surprise my wife with a private dining experience for two at the beach gazebo for her ‘big’ birthday (not allowed to say how old!) Also for me personally, who normally only sits on the beach reading a good book, I’d like to thank the Entertainment Team, especially Maria who’s always got a smile on her face and words of encouragement! To Fernanda and Carlos, who keep me going on the volleyball court after a long day. They’ve all made me feel so welcome and encouraged me to try everything from the volleyball (which I now love), to table tennis in the wind! The new team clearing the morning seaweed work tirelessly to make the beach look amazing, even ‘Speedy Gonzales’ the JCB driver, who perhaps should slow done just a little bit. Lastly to Gloria in the Arrecifes restaurant, who’s always been my favourite ‘egg maker’, who’s now my favourite ‘taco maker’, thanks for helping me improve my peogen Spanish! Muchas Grasias!!

    Fab staff

    The Staff here make me come back again and again . They are so caring, cheerful and helpful from the gardeners, cleaners, waiters, butlers and entertainment staff! I can only name a few but our Butlers Ana, Julian, Alturo and Azael have been so helpful and attended to our every need, helping make my birthday one to remember. Celvin and Gabriel the beach butlers have welcomed us with a friendly smile and help make our beach days so comfortable and enjoyable. They even decorated my Bali bed for my birthday! Maria the entertainment staff is so beautiful, cheery and friendly, regularly coming to play games such as rummy and uni as I have an injury so can’t do the sports. I can’t thank. Her enough for her fun and laughter. Nelson our waiter was fun to be served by and so smiley! Lundy and Patricia the beach waitress always made sure we had drinks! So thank you all!

    LOTS OF ISSUES..

    We paid for the so called TUI premium suite. We requested 3 times twin beds.. No joy.. Not even noted on arrival. The room was dated, damp, and overlooked a run down pool bar and pool area so we moved rooms to another block. 07.15am and not one sunbed available in our so called premium zone, not ONE person on any bed. Totally selfish and ridiculous. If you want a bed.. lie on it. The place is tired, staff and food good, beverages good, a loud lively end and a quiet one, The Mexican TUI rep was excellent, we got in the restaurants we wanted, breakfast good, I know you spend little time in your rooms but they are in a desperate need for upgrade. If you are a hard core smoker do not come here.. Beware scam at airport if you bring cigarettes I got fined all in Spanish £322 for bringing 200. Its now a majot scam.. Beware.. All in all you get what you pay for. . And we did..

    Fantastic afternoon painting coconuts!!

    Just had a fantasic afternoon with Maria and Luis painting coconuts. These guys have been so much fun and have been super attentive. Fantastic afternoon and it’s been so much fun. Anyone who comes here should 100% do this activity! Thank you both!

    María and Luis are great activity staff. Always enjoy doing crafts with them! Coconut painting and mug painting was great made bracelets and the staff was able to make it adjustable. Very helpful and accommodating. Even took our picture with the coconut after with a nice beach back ground
