Apr 17, 2026Enjoyable Stay at Eden House
We stayed here from 4/11-4/14/26. Our experience was good overall with a few caveats. Be careful when selecting your room. This is a 100 year old property & some rooms are quite small. Our 1st room was a cave right next to the lobby area. Other than having a new shower, it was not great. Thankfully, we were able to upgrade to a studio king suite for the last 2 nights. Pool area is nice & updated. Restaurant on site is pretty good.

Make sure you check and see which room you get. Some of the rooms are so small you barely move. There's not a separate bathroom. No place to hang your clothes. Barely get your suitcases in the door. The pool area is very nice. It has a nice hot tub, although I would say it's not really a hot tub because it feels like the water temperature is about the same as the pool hot tub water temperature should be around 102 it feels like it's 85 so although the place is nice and clean, which it is our rooms at least the ones on the second floor here are very tight and there's nowhere to put anything in fact, it's a TV fell off the wall. It would hit your feet. It seems to be only about 8 feet wide and about maybe 15 feet long. I wouldn't stay here again unless you get a sweet and that's probably another $300 plus a night.

Feb 27, 2026Didn’t receive what we paid for :(
Didn’t get the condo we paid for…instead we had to climb over one story of stairs to a very cramped and crowded room. There was sposed to be an electric cooktop, but all we got was a tiny microwave and fridge. Spiral staircase falling apart and VERY dangerous. Neighbors were loud coming in at 2:45am. Thin walls! Only good thing was the community jacuzzi.

Tiny room. Couldn’t open bathroom door fully because hit bed. Also right next to front desk and could hear everything. Cheap towels. Nothing on the walls. Was hoping to a homey Key West vibe. Not here.

No character
This place used to have so much soul and a true Key West vibe. That is all gone now, no more amazing foliage amongst the buildings, no more cozy funky gazebo or rock wall by the pool. Sun deck is gone. It’s just like any other wanna be cool spot now. Wish it would’ve stayed the way it was when Eden owned it.
