Rooms and Terrace needs done TLC
The staff was great in all areas: check-in, pool maintenance, housekeeping, food. They all were friendly with a good attitude. The room was small, dark, drab and an overall disappointment. The room did not reflect the rooms pictured on internet. I was really sad when I walked into the room. The terrace was ugly and not inviting, could really use a facelift. It felt like something you would see in government funded housing (AKA "The Projects"). The view from terrace was great. This was my first time to Riverwalk and loved the Riverwalk experience but will stay in another hotel hotel next time. I did my best to reserve the best room available and was assigned to room 636. Not sure if the other rooms were any better. Food: (again, staff was great) breakfast: most of it was pretty good, biscuits were great, the potatoes were terrible and tasted like cold french fries and most people would end up throwing them away. Evening: Most of it was good; but pulled pork not very good and they should consider replacing it with something else. I would consider sprucing up the hot dog bar (& offer things like chili, cheese, onions, mayo, sauerkraut & some potato chips too). With a little attention and updates this could be a nice hotel

4-night stay - December 2022
The hotel was clean and staff was very friendly and attentive. The hotel is older and a bit outdated, but the free breakfast and happy hour was a good amenity. Great location right on the Riverwalk, but this also made it a bit noisy in the room late at night. The parking is very tight and not adequate for full-size trucks and SUV's.

Great Hotel on Riverwalk!
This was a great hotel that had access right on River Walk and near several fabulous restaurants close to the hotel. Plus the breakfast and Kick Starter food was great. We could walk to the Alamo along River Walk. Nice to be able to sight see in San Antonio without ever moving our car from the parking deck!

Relaxing, Clean, Peaceful
The staff was amazing. The room was very clean and updated. Perfect location for walking to any location on the Riverwalk. We will definitely be back. And will tell all our family and friends about our stay.

Just Average
We had a football game close to SA so I reserved this DRURY for a mini weekend family getaway. We unfortunately was too late for the River Parade and we missed the kick back drinks and snacks. We came at 10 after the game and the only available perk was coffee. I wish they would at least keep the soda machines on till midnight or popcorn for late guests. When we arrived it was raining and nobody was at the check in desk. We waited a while and the security guard told us somebody would be there shortly. A guy finally comes ,but was not very friendly. Just asks for all our info and asked if we were just coming thru since we only came for one night and late. I didn’t feel welcome there at all. When asked for eating he acted like nothing much was open late , but when we got down there we actually found a couple open to 11 to eat and Rita’s sat us right away on the Riverwalk. He didn’t tell us much info , but parking. The room was not vacuumed and view of an alley. The decor was nice and space was more than typical queens. I do wish a trash can was in the bathroom with the toilet because you have to take your trash with you to throw away under the sink outside the door. The shower was hot, but not a good pressure. The mattresses were terrible!! Both queens we fell to the middle. I was rolled into my husband all night and my two boys were rolled into each other all night as well. We didn’t sleep well at all. It was also very stuffy and hot in the whole hotel the entire time. In the morning the breakfast was nice, but was not greeted by any staff there like at other hotels . They also were short on tables. The biscuits were the best we have had at a hotel. The lady at the check in was much more friendly than the guy the night before. She allowed us to keep the car for us to walk down to the riverwalk and very accommodating. The elevators were always crowded so we took the stairs a lot. The location is ideal on the Riverwalk and was nice since it was raining to be be on it and not walk, but some of the other factors may keep my eyes open to others.
