Mar 29, 2026A Truly Wonderful Trip
We stayed in a Preferred Club ocean-view plunge pool room on the 12th floor. The beds were extremely comfortable, the room was spacious, and the view was absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed the plunge pool several times—the water was warm, and we had plenty of sunshine. I highly recommend choosing a Preferred Club room, as it gives you access to the rooftop pool, the 360 bar, and the restaurant. It is truly the best spot in the hotel. The view is breathtaking!!! We were always able to get the seats we wanted, and the pool was warm. We spent most of our week up there. And what can I say about the staff? Our waitress Alexi was always smiling and knew exactly how we liked our cocktails. There was also her colleague working with her as a server (we unfortunately forgot his name), and he was just as great. The hotel is beautifully decorated, modern, and very clean. The staff truly takes care of you. The only downside is the beach—it is quite small, the water is not very clear, and there is a lot of seaweed. That was disappointing for me as I am a beach person. However, you can take a ferry to Isla Mujeres, which is definitely worth it. The food was incredible—we loved everything we ate! - Bluewater Grill: This is the restaurant reserved for Preferred Club guests. A big thank you to the hostess Lesli, who always gave us our favorite table and welcomed us warmly. Whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the food was excellent and the view was stunning. We ate there at least 10 times (highly recommend the Eggs Benedict, shrimp aguachile, smash burgers, and the beet and watermelon salad—delicious!), but honestly everything was great. The service was perfect thanks to our regular server Mario, his colleague Antonio, and the manager Still. We never lacked anything. Their attitude and service truly made our experience unforgettable. This is the kind of team that makes you want to come back. - Primevista: Wow, what a setting! The restaurant is fully glass-walled and offers a spectacular view of the city lights. We went three times because we loved it so much. The steak was delicious—perfectly grilled and very tender (especially the ribeye and New York strip). - Portofino: It was good, but nothing particularly memorable. The service was lacking and not at the same level as the restaurants at the top of the hotel (Bluewater & Primevista). - Himitsu: The sushi was excellent. Again, the service and overall experience were not quite at the same level as the rooftop restaurants, but we still went back a second time just for the sushi. Lobby Bar: Very calm, clean, and modern. We came here every evening to enjoy espresso martinis and dirty martinis while playing cards before dinner. We had excellent service every time. We met two amazing and fun bartenders, but unfortunately didn’t catch their names :( hope you recognize yourselves! Special mention to Adrian, the bartender at the Veranda bar. We absolutely loved our week at this hotel and were already looking forward to coming back. We travel often and truly have nothing negative to say about this hotel (except the beach). Thank you for an amazing experience!

awesome place and great food
I honestly had the best time here ! The food was really good, lots of options from the taco grill, buffet, speciality restaurants and room service ! I had someone in my party have a gluten allergy and the entire staff was so accommodating and asked every time we stepped into a restaurant or place with food or ordered food. The food was labeled with allergies and even gave her many options for food. Everything was clean and the poolside service was very attentive even when it was busy on the weekend ! I had such a good time here and already thinking about going back

Impeccable Service & Beautiful Property
We had an incredible stay at Dreams Vista Cancun! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how beautiful the resort is. There are so many thoughtful touches throughout the property, and everything smells amazing — even the beach bathrooms! The decor is stunning and the views are absolutely breathtaking. Our room was spotless every single day, and housekeeping did an impeccable job. Room service was always prompt and reliable. The food was honestly the best resort food I’ve ever had. We visited almost every restaurant and each one was excellent …such great variety and quality. What truly made this trip special, though, was the outstanding service. Every staff member goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. They acknowledge you as you walk by, greet you with a smile, and genuinely engage with guests. It creates such a warm and friendly atmosphere. A big shout-out to ALL of the Dreams Vista staff — you are amazing! Special shout-out to Zeus, the aquafit instructor …funny, friendly, and full of high energy. Rubi was also fantastic; if you like a more fast-paced workout with some Zumba flair, she’s got you! My mom and I did these classes almost every day and loved them. I would come back to Dreams Vista in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

Best Vacation!
I cannot say enough great things about the resort & staff. Excellent food/restaurants. Beach staff - including Victor, Kendor & David could not do enough for the guests. Entertainment team including Edwin, Rubi and zeuz were amazing! All staff is very very friendly.

First time to Dreams Vista ..but not the last
It was our first time going to a Dreams resort … we didn’t know what to expect as we have mainly gone to Secrets resorts but Dreams Vista did not disappoint. It was fun trying to navigate the huge hotel and figuring out where everything was. Linsey at the blue water cafe on the roof top greeted us every morning with a lovely smile and the servers also were wonderful and very attentive to all the guests (I wish I could remember their names..sorry guys). We never had a problem with the resort and enjoyed all it had to offer from Victor at the preferred beach area … he greeted everyone with a smile and kind words and towels and an offer to help set up for our beach time. The servers at the Baracuda Bar were fabulous all of them and the fact they remembered us when they worked by the pool and we were there too was awesome! We went to coco cafe every evening after dinner and ordered our herbal tea for our walk back to our room and the girls Gaby and Marina always were happy to see us and remembered our orders… we were there for 2 weeks so we saw them a lot. I crocheted dish cloths while I relaxed on the beach or by the pool and one evening I gave Gaby and Marina each a dish cloth … they loved them! On our last day they gave me a little going away gift and that was so sweet 🥰 can’t say enough about those two. We never had a bad meal anywhere … all the restaurants were great and all the servers were very friendly. We would love to come back some day with our family and grandchildren.. they would love it 😍… Thank you to all the staff at Dreams Vista you are all great and hard workers.
