5 night stay 2/24-3/01 got off to a really bumpy start Tuesday check in -offer of upgraded room wasn’t ready after close to two hours -room booked (King) wasn’t available -we accepted a double room -told we’d move following day -received call that evening asking if we could move right away -my husband wasn’t feeling well so I asked to wait until morning Wednesday -packed to move & offered a better upgrade (1222) -room wasn’t ready & required attention from maintenance -waited again almost 2 hours -another room became available & we moved in around 13:00 (1522) Things improved over Thursday through Sunday; -UVC rep Allan went out of his way to make us feel valued (3 days Bali bed comped at Rooftop pool; dinner reservations) -ate at Italian 3.5/5; Asian 4/5; Vista Prime twice 4.5/5 & tried all meals at Bluewater on the rooftop — average about 3/5 Roof top deck surrounding pool has no shade whatsoever; there is a canopied area with adequate loungers & Bali beds facing the pool. We did not go to the main pool, or beach - and didn’t see any evening shows as my husband continued to feel ill. This may be a great spot for families as the water park/surf area looks cool & its proximity to the Isla Mujeres ferry terminal. however I’ve been with grandkids to other Dreams properties I think they have enjoyed more than they would this one. The staff in the Preferred Concierge area was amazing & huge shout outs to Montserrat, Daniel, Oscar & Angel who did their best to get us settled into a room within 24 hours of checkin! Thanks as well to UVC’s Allan Cueva 🫶 for his patience & compassion during our stay!

Mar 07, 2026Great family resort with amazing layout, but very windy
We stayed at Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort with young kids and overall had a great vacation. The biggest advantage of this resort is the single-building layout. Everything is very close (rooms, buffet, pool, beach) which makes it extremely convenient with kids. Because the hotel is compact, it never felt crowded. Even during busy times we always found seating at the buffet, pool, or beach. Restaurants were good for an all-inclusive. We were pleasantly surprised to see real burrata at the Italian restaurant. The buffet is smaller than large resorts but that makes sense given the smaller number of guests. The location is excellent. The hotel sits near the ferry to Isla Mujeres, which made it easy to visit Playa Norte, one of the highlights of our trip. Two downsides: the wind can be very strong in this area (3 of our 7 days were extremely windy), and the timeshare presentation pressure on arrival was too aggressive. Overall though, a very convenient and enjoyable resort for families.

Just returned from a wonderful week long vacation at Dreams Vista. We were here with a large family group of 19 made up of adults and young adults, youngest being 14. We had an amazing time! Loved this resort, was worried about the size but it was perfect. Everything is laid out very well! Rooms all had amazing views and very comfortable. Food was very good, all of our group had many good things to say about the food! We enjoyed delicious meals at all the restaurants. The pool side lunches were top notch as well! Everything from tacos to poke bowels, very tasty! The service was also a stand out at this resort. We have been to many all-inclusive resorts over the years as a large family group and this resort definitely has top notch service. Carlos Yepez at the World Cafe was wonderful in accommodating our large group for nightly supper reservations. He was so helpful! This is usually a challenge most places we go. We enjoy eating together nightly and he made that possible. He and his team at the buffet were also very helpful in accommodating gluten allergies among our group. Really everyone was at all the restaurants! The kids loved the surf simulator, it does get busy as it’s only open an hour every day. We did rent it privately the last day we were there which was a great! The kids got all the surfing in they could possibly do! Zeus was a great instructor!! The one downside of the resort is the beach. It is small and narrow. But the views are still beautiful! We enjoyed poolside with daily beach volleyball. Overall this resort worked very well for our family! We had an amazing vacation!!

Relaxing honeymoon!
We just got back from our honeymoon at Dreams Golf and Spa in Cancun, and I can’t say enough about how incredible our stay was! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel special, and it truly felt like a dream. Spa Experience Our spa experience was a highlight. Jessica at the front desk was so welcoming—she always greeted us with a smile. We even celebrated her birthday by bringing her a cake, which made for a really nice moment. Felipe, the spa manager, was fantastic too. He was friendly and attentive, helping to create a relaxed vibe that we loved. We had booked just one massage, but we ended up indulging in four! Each therapist—Silvia, Carolina, Anna, Monica, and Alex—was amazing. The hydrotherapy sessions were so much fun and a great way to unwind after exploring. Dining Experience The food was another standout. Every meal was delicious, and we were always excited to see what was next on the menu. Aiko, the hostess, was especially wonderful. She went above and beyond to make sure we got a reservation at a restaurant that had some issues, showing just how committed the staff is to their guests. Overall Impression All in all, our time at Dreams Golf and Spa was unforgettable. The combination of warm hospitality, luxurious spa treatments, and fantastic food made our honeymoon perfect. We can’t wait to go back someday!
