Nickle and Dime resort - Not a family resort.
First off, we travelled with a large group. We had a 13-year-old and a 17-year-old. The only nice pool, which was not very large, was adult-only. Our teens were not splashing, not doing anything, and just hanging with our group. Standing in the pool is all you can do. They were asked to leave because the pool is only for adults. Here is the thing: anyone over 12 is charged an adult rate. You pay for all the drinks they cannot have and cannot use the only nice pool. This is a family resort, it says. The kids' pool was warm and full of kids under 10. No issue with this, do not charge me for adults. The resort said sorry, they are adults for the room, but not for the pool. Brutal. For that reason, I would never return IF they charged us a kids' rate for them, no issues. I told them that, but they just said they are adults, not adults for the pool. Then there are the restaurants. The food was nothing special, and if you wanted to reserve a table for a specific time, it would cost you 100 USD for a 20 USD bottle of wine. Wait, was this not an all-inclusive trip? Line-ups were over an hour long some nights at the à la carte restaurants, so they forced you to buffet, which again, was so so. Then the pool chairs. They blocked the ocean view and the adult pool with cabanas that cost over USD 200 per day to rent. Terrible decision. Most days, they were all empty.

Great resort
Great experience, some staff was super agreable, Johnathan super energetic and agréable, Milton the manager from el Patio super organized, Daniel waiter at el Patio amazing experience, super knowledgeable and made us feel amazing, the bad part the bad service by the night manager from reception Daniel to resolve an issue with a mistake the hotel made with one of our rooms and couldn't care to resolve and ignored us, we had to follow up and we were affected one night by his staff and himself negligence

Lovely resort for families and couples
This was our (hubby & my) third visit to this resort. It has changed a bit from our last visit, as they have added small slides & a kiddie play area at the end of the small kids pool. Yes, it was noisy around the pool, but good noise. The activity pool was great for older kids & adults. The infinity pool is now Adult only which was great for us. We decided we did not want to hunt for chairs and shade each day, so we rented a bali bed for 5 days. It was located behind the activity pool & was perfect for us. Our pool waiter was JONATHON and he was super attentive, and a hoot! The activity team, with OLIVER & crew, was very energetic and engaging. Several pool concierge folks made our pool time lovely. Thanks to JONY, ERIK, & ANTONIO for assisting with towels, pillows, and great care. Our room was Pool Front, Ocean View, King and was large & lovely. Location on the second floor meant using the stairs was an easy option. Housekeeping & evening turndown service was superior. I did a hydrotherapy circuit with ERICA and she was an attentive guide. Their hydrotherapy circuit is lovely as it is open air and very relaxing. Hubby got a massage with JUSTINA and he was very pleased. We did the preferred club package, and enjoyed the sit-down breakfast and that gorgeous view at Seaside Grill every morning. Lunch was usually Oceania, unless there was poolside grilling. One evening we didn't feel like we wanted a whole restaurant experience so we tried the World Cafe buffet. It was almost 9:30 pm, so we didn't expect much. While the buffet was practically empty of customers, the food displayed was plentiful, hot, and delicious. We were suitably impressed. Even had our waiter offer to bring us a cappuccino, which we accepted & enjoyed. The French, Italian, and Mexican restaurants were excellent. We did not try the Asian restaurant, nor room service. Coco cafe was enjoyed each morning, and served as our breakfast spot for our early morning departure. Walked on the beach, but did not get in ocean, while many did. Loved seeing the cruise ships at night, all lit up, coming and going from Cozumel. Evening shows were outside on pool deck and quite nice. No complaints, would recommend. Used Kalido to and from airport. Great service!

AMAZING SERVICE!!!
My wife and I really enjoyed our honeymoon here! It was beautiful, fun, lots to do, and the service was amazing!!! Specifically at Seaside Grill. We ate breakfast here every morning and had most lunches here as well. The manager, Abraham, and his team were so attentive to us during our whole stay! They gave us priority seating, rushed orders when needed, and went above and beyond for us every single time. The hostess Estella remembered us every time and sat us in our favorite servers section, Asael. Asael was the best!! He remembered our names, our coffee orders, and was so kind to us! We loved seeing him every morning. The chef, Eder, produced amazing food too!! Also, at the Rendezvous Bar, bartender Clever was great! He remembered our names and order every single night! Overall, the service was top notch and we felt so special!

Nice resort, very kid friendly
We stayed here this past week, and had a good experience. The room was nicely updated, and even though we were on first floor right next to the Preferred Pool, you couldn’t hear anything. The resort is smaller, and pretty much all entertainment is significantly geared towards kids/families, not adults.(Example: we heard Baby Shark 2x at karaoke lol) The Preferred Pool is not adults only. There isn’t really much beach area, due to previous storms washing them out, which was fine with us because we prefer the ocean view pools! The adults only pool is tucked away from the ocean, bars, etc, with little sun exposure due to being surrounded by buildings. Preferred Pool area had great drink service, and wait staff that came around to check on us. Food was good everywhere, but our favorite was Rue de Rivoli! The staff were extremely friendly everywhere! They have Uber now but I’d recommend taking a taxi. Our Uber price doubled from the time we left the resort and reached our destination. We’ve also heard the taxi unions aren’t happy about Ubers, and have ran people off the road. We had no issues with taxi services! Our favorite staff were: Alexandro waiter Rue de Rivoli Salvador The Club preferred lounge Sauri at La Parilla Dennis concierge/Bell hop
