We have been long time Dreams Resorts vacationers. This was one of the worst resorts and worst staff we have ever experienced.

Best entertainment by the big pool, the guys are awesome Oliver and Uzz. Otherwise never again, don’t see why cleaning and moving of the furniture in other rooms next door has to start at 8am.Coco cafe has best latte and cappuccino. also…lots of small kids if you want to sleep in, this resort is not for you, kids cry and run around in hallway all around. Food is ok. They should take reservations for restaurants and not just have walks in and waits. Resort is small. Beach small. Free spa - you get what you pay for there for done sign up for whatever is in exchange.

This resort is one of the worst I’ve ever stayed in. The food quality is appalling. They add water and ice to all the drinks, and the seafood is terrible. Don’t even think about eating the sushi; it looks like the fish is contaminated. The staff is only friendly if you tip them. The housekeeping quality varies wildly depending on how much you tip. It’s overpriced and scamming. They even tried to lure you to another resort and offer you “free” spa services. Be cautious and stay away from this place!

Dec 02, 2025Wonderful Stay with Exceptional Entertainment and Service
We had a fantastic week at Dreams Riviera Cancun. The entertainment was a standout—the shows felt more elevated than at other resorts we’ve visited, especially the fire show and the magic show, which were both truly impressive. The resort also put an incredible amount of thought into the Thanksgiving event, and it showed in every detail. We were consistently amazed by how quickly and seamlessly the team transitioned the spaces for weddings. Watching them move chairs, tables, and décor with such efficiency and coordination was genuinely impressive. A special thank-you to Uzzy from the entertainment team, whose helpfulness, energy, and positive attitude made a real impact on our stay. We stayed in a Master View room, which was delightful—spacious, comfortable, and offering absolutely stellar views. Overall, Dreams Riviera Cancun was a wonderful experience. We left feeling relaxed, entertained, and very well cared for.

We had a fantastic time here for 12 days, not even 1 complaint. Each staff member goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable and make sure it’s top notch. Speaking with other guests shared only positive vibes also. We will definitely return to this Dreams
