Good but be prepared to wait.
Beautiful resort but found it really frustrating for eating. We travelled with our family group ages starting at 2 to almost 70. If you didn’t line up to get a spot by 5:00pm for when a la carte restaurants open at 6:00 you could expect to have to wait until 7:30 (or later) for a spot. Even the buffet wouldn’t open until 6:30 and good chance you’d wait in line to get in there. I don’t ever recall an all inclusive that was run that way. We had one meal at the Mexican restaurant which was horribly slow service (almost 2 hours which was surprising for a Mexican restaurant in Mexico we thought). The pool chairs were grabbed by 6:30 - perhaps not uncommon but be prepared for that. Staff very courteous but our guess was the resort was overall understaffed.

Awesome Experience
Spring break trip with my family of 4 was awesome. The pool was great, the service was wonderful. The staff made us feel like we were shareholders in the property. My best experience was at Maris Seafood restaurant where we have breakfast in the mornings. Carlos was an exceptional staff. He made me and my family felt like we weren't guests but family. The 2nd visit to the restaurant, he remember exactly what i order the day before and that is a skill right there. Thanks to Dreams and Thank you Carlos. See you guys again in 2027 :-)

Flipped my misconception of what an all-inclusive resort vacation would be!
We went with a large group for spring break and, honestly, Dreams exceeded my expectations! I was quite wary that this was going to be an overpriced, potentially poorly managed resort. Wow, was I WRONG! Everything from the kind and helpful staff, to the beautifully kept grounds and beach, to the variety of restaurants & bars, to the fun included activities were wonderful! I personally enjoyed the bike tour with Brian, sitting by the pool enjoying the music while reading my books & Edwin's service while there, water aerobics with Tony and hanging out with our group at the on-premise club each night. This was my daughter's & my first experience at an all-inclusive and our stay at Dreams has changed my mind about what that may have looked like in the past. This would be a place I would bring my family in the future...and encourage other large groups to try if you have a misconception, like I did, about all-inclusive resorts in the Cancun/Isla Mujeres area!

Fair experience
Resort is fine, not amazing. Beach is beautiful. Room is clean. Requested two queens, had one king and a tiny pull out. Staff exceptionally nice. The wait time for dinner every night varies between 2 - 3 hours for a table and then another 1 - 2 hours for your meal. Food was just ok. Nothing special.

Ben Sullivan
Staff was super slow. They were never concerned about any requests we brought to them. We never got room service any of the four times we tried to order. Safe was not working the last day. I have never been to a resort, or out of the United States. I don't want to sound entitled, but after paying nearly $6,000 - for a 4 day stay - I just expected more.
