We had been in madeira for 2weeks and our flight back to the UK was cancelled due to high winds. Our carrier (jet2) provided us with 3 nights accommodation at Dreams. The staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel very welcome. Couldn't fault the service or quality of food in restaurant. The layout of the resort is great, it enables a community feel rather than a large hotel, which can sometimes be impersonal. Although we didn't choose the venue we would certainly recommend it if you want excellent service, polite and courteous staff and a warm welcome.

Beautiful location!
The resort is beautiful!! Staff very helpful and accommodating in every way. Sophia and Bruna engaged with us to keep us entertained during our stay. The only thing I wish it offered was the shuttle into Funchal during the nighttime hours, so we could have seen all the Christmas decorations lit up. Otherwise would definitely return!

Wonderful hotel with incredible staff
I truly believe this magnificent resort deserves more than 5 stars because it is exceptional! What really makes it special is the absolutely wonderful staff who always go above and beyond to make your holiday wonderful! They are the kindest, most welcoming, hard working, thoughtful, caring people and I am wholeheartedly grateful for the amazing experience they give me! The entertainment/activity team here are incredible:) they really are very talented people with hearts of gold! They give such professional advice,guidance and support with compassion and a positive energy! I very special thank you to lovely Grace who is the best yoga, sound healing, dance instructor who is super lovely and provides amazing sessions :) the hotel is very lucky to have her! I also want to say thank you to the rest of the activities team Carol who is super fun and bubbly, David who does the best Tai Chi sessions, Pedro who does fantastic fitness activities such as spinning, HIIT, Pilates etc which are brilliant and Sophia who does great creative sessions such as macrame, candle making etc which is a lovely way to socialise and learn new skills! The whole team are absolutely fantastic and I couldn’t thank them enough :) they are the best team :) I really enjoy all of the wellness and fitness activities they do and they truly make my holiday super fun and memorable! I also want to say a huge thank you to the wonderful staff in the Cocoa cafe who are super lovely and always smiley and welcoming! They make the best drinks ever and always make me smile with their kindness:) the hotel has such a lovely and welcoming atmosphere made by the exceptional, friendly staff :) The restaurant staff are incredible too and always super helpful, friendly and welcoming:) I wish I could name every staff member because they are so incredible beyond words and certainly deserve the recognition and praise! The staff in the spa are very lovely and smiley too and do wonderful treatments :)

Wonderful
Wonderful place. Exceptional food. Entertainment with Sofia and Bruna was a lot of fun! Voce was delicious and Sujon our server was super friendly and attentive!
