Great location, great design, AMAZING staff! The friendliness and warmth made the experience, we felt like we'd come home to friends... Exceptional place if you have kids and you need a break, although somewhat lacking for grown up date night options....

Wonderful stay! Could not ask for more.
Dreams macao exceeded all of our expectations. Food was overall very good (some misses but that's to be expected and we're pretty critical). The staff and condition of the hotel were all amazing. Lots of activities for adults and kids of all ages. We went during christmas and the staff did a great job creating a festive atmosphere.

Travelled as a couple to celebrate special birthday. Never been abroad before in December. Stayed for 2 weeks and paid extra to be upgraded to preferred and also premium with TUI when we originally booked the holiday. Overall the hotel was excellent, staff, pools, service, drinks, food and rooms. Brits are in the minority and the strange American culture of tipping at every opportunity was the only thing that annoyed me on the holiday. Dollar notes handed over whenever they were served at a bar, or at breakfast, lunch, dinner etc. I did tip every now and again but the service was still the same regardless of whether you tipped or not. I’ve already paid a fortune for the holiday so no way am I tipping just to get a can of corona handed to me at a bar. Butler Moises was excellent. We only needed him to book à la carte meal everyday but he made a point of finding us everyday to chat, WhatsApp messaged us everyday as well telling us what activities etc were taking place. Preferred adults only pool was excellent and where we spent most days. Moises (not the butler) looked after this area and for a small tip (he would probably do it anyway) he put towels out for us everyday so we didn’t need to get up and reserve beds. You need to ask for branded beers otherwise you get local presidente beer. Corona, coors, miller all available although not at all bars. Cocktails were really nice. I’ve read previous reviews about alcohol being watered down - it isn’t. Main activity pool was busy and swim up bar the same. Not really for us but only because we wanted to relax around the adults pool which was quiet. Food was good, never ate at buffet at night but it was fine at breakfast and lunch. Coffee shop was excellent, different coffees, milk shakes, cakes, ice cream and sandwiches. Room was good, any issues quickly resolved using the hotels app. Room service for breakfast on my birthday (all included) was superb with sparklers, cakes, fruit, prosecco as well as what we actually ordered. The guys delivering even sang happy birthday. Didn’t do any trips, was going to do sanoa island but it’s over 3 hours on a coach (1.5 hour each way) to the port and then more time on a speedboat to get to the island. Even the TUI rep said it was a long day and a lot of travelling. I would definitely recommend upgrading to preferred. You get access to more pools, more areas on beach and ala carte breakfast and lunch. The preferred lounge was okay but it was just like a large living room with a tv, small bar and some snacks laid out. Shows at night weren’t the best, lots of weddings going on so occasionally lots of loud Americans around the pool or around the bars. Waterpark was brilliant, lazy river a nice touch and even had a bar and snack food for this area. Our usual holidays are sensatori in Turkey, this was on par with these but probably only because of the upgrade. There is construction work going on and one of the blocks was directly opposite it. I would definitely have asked to move if we were put there because it was noisy and the views were of the building site with work going on. Would definitely return to this hotel.

Family Vacation
This is our 4th time at this amazing hotel and it’s our 2nd time this year to this resort. We are planning a return trip in 2026. We were in building 4 and had a swim out. We were right by the Preferred family pool. It was close proximity to the restaurants. It can get noisy in the evening if you are a light sleeper with all the events going on at night time. The noise did not bother us but it can be an issue if you are a light sleeper. Eddy, bellboy, upon arrival my family was greeted by this kind and caring person. He knew it was my son’s birthday was previous trips and bought my son a gift. Miguel, butler, gave us the itinerary every morning and looked for us throughout the day to see if we needed anything. He made sure our room was decorated for our son’s birthday. He took care of our requests immediately. Explorer’s Club - Moana, Cuteness, Rainbow, Queen, Candy, Happiness and Diana took care of our son 2-3 hours a day. My son had fun making pizza, snorkeling, bracelet, bouncy house, painting bottles & rocks, trampoline, origami and dancing class. The staff is great with kids and they go the extra mile to keep your kids entertained. Entertainment team - Jhony Bravo, Victor OG, Baby face, Diana, Diamond, La Negra, Kenny, Summer, Edliana, Capuchino, Dora and the entertainment team dancers are top notch. By far the best entertainment team in the Hyatt portfolio. Jhony Bravo, Summer & Diamond water Zumba class was amazing. The class was full of energy and it really test your endurance. Victor OG - friendly and always smiling. He was teaching my son how to play baseball. He is extremely outgoing and has a great personality. World Cafe - special thanks to waiters Rudy and Lorenzo and Victor making the delicious omelettes. Seaside Grill and Oceana - Mr. Confidence aka Coffee and Edwar for the great service. Bartenders include - Papa Chicken, Frank, Damary, Maria, Alberto, Jorge (lobby bar) Abad, Mayra and Yuberkis (Sugar Reef), Loretta, Franchesca and Miguel. Ana, UVC rep, was there to greet us upon arrival. We had a brief meeting and updated us about UVC hotels. She was very informative and helpful. She checked on us throughout our stay. She was there to say goodbye when we were checking out. The entire staff was friendly and hard working. The staff here makes this resort special. Our stay here would not be the same if it wasn’t for Eddy, Miguel (butler), Jhonny Bravo, Victor OG and Diamond. Please do not hesitate to book this resort. It is fantastic.

We booked and paid for a king-size junior suite with an ocean view. Unfortunately, we were given a room with two queen beds and a construction view instead. This was not what we reserved and significantly impacted our stay. Disappointing experience overall.
