Six day stay
Great small resort. 30 minutes away from town. Super friendly safe. Everything about the resort was very clean. If you golf it is a beautiful course along the coast with spectacular views.

There is no beach here
The facility is in need of a major renovation... everything about it speaks of a by gone era. It is clear that at one point this was quite a spectacular resort, but they have not kept it well. Also, there is no beach to speak off -- only the ocean!

Relax and chill Resort, kid friendly
Only one main bar and entertainment area for the evening time after 8pm. Bartenders everyday claim they ran out of beers and liquor around 10pm. However they had the liquor hidden to give it to other restaurant that needed refill in liquor. Which is surprisingly to witness. Overall the resort was nice to stay. Rooms very clean and helpful staff. 25mins from the tourist area. However they provide free transport 3pm to 7pm return to the walled town in cartegena. Expect to pay $20 if you miss the bus or wanted to stay for the night life. Definitely kid friendly and relaxing environment. For a large group it's perfect for the all inclusive. Small group or couples, I would stay at closer hotel near the town.

Not worth it - Save your money
The food and drinks at this hotel were very disappointing, especially the buffet. The food was cold, the meatballs were undercooked, and this was even though we were the first guests through the doors when the buffet opened. The bars did not offer any name-brand alcohol, essentially forcing guests to either buy alcohol at the airport before arriving or pay extra to upgrade to the Preferred Club—which still didn’t have much of a selection. In terms of dining, Grill 2 was the only good experience we had. Unfortunately, the beach restaurant was closed simply because it was raining, which was another letdown. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. You’re much better off booking a regular hotel closer to the city of Cartagena, where you can enjoy good food and drinks on your own terms. The only real positive was the daily shuttle service that took guests to the Old City at 3:00 pm and returned at 7:00 pm, giving about four hours to explore. Alternatively, a cab costs around $25–$30 USD. Definitely stick with Uber.
