My experience at El Patio in Mazatlán at the Dreams resort was fantastic. The food was amazing and my waiter named Miguel was exceptional! The food was very good and I really recommend this server and the rest of the staff at El Patio!

Great Family Vacation
Overall an amazing place! Best food and drinks I have had at an all-inclusive. Only downside was it seemed to be somewhat understaffed so there was a wait for most things (drinks at the bar etc..) but it was not too bad. Specific shout out to the kids’ club ladies: Yami, Miranda, Melissa and Noemi. My daughter cried having to leave them - they were kind and clearly loved their job! We also had amazing service at Portofino & El Patio (best Taramind Shrimp ever): Antonio, Fransisco, Manuel, Elizabeth. El Patio had the friendliest staff who were very eager to accommodate kids and just really kind overall! Ps. Visit the turtle sanctuary next door!

Great resort with fantastic staff and food
Great location - close to the airport! The town is about 40 mins away but worth visiting! The service was fantastic, food choices were great with lots of variety. Drink choices were also really good including the snacks and drinks at the cafe. Loved the hot tub and that all rooms are ocean facing! Resort is very clean and the workers work very hard! Sunsets, dolphins and whales were a nice touch! Some great staff were: Sandra at breakfast Antonio at the El Patio Augustin at portifino Roberta and angel at the bar Jesus at the bar

My experience at dreams was one of mixed reactions. My first experience at a dreams resort was not the amazing experience I hoped for. Driving up to the property located near the airport in Mazatlan was my first red flag, more than an hour drive from the booming city of Mazatlan ment that I am stuck at this resort with no other options. The drive up to the property located near with lush vegetation gave me a feeling of tropical paradise. This quickly went away once we arrived to the resort itself and found very little of that tropical paradise I was hoping for. Being booked into a preferred room I was treated by my concierge Victor who was amazing I would rate my experience with him a solid 10/10. After getting settled and going to the pool I found in the Main pool area you cannot get a chair. Throughout my stay I found if you do not claim a chair by 7:30 am you are not getting one for the day. Thankfully I was preferred club and we had our own pool and chairs. The restaurants are nothing to be desired after trying a few I found the food always comes out cold and not cooked properly. This was very consistent through my stay. The only saving grace was the omlet station with Sandra who was delightful and was a master chef in her own right. I have done a lot of all inclusive throughout Mexico and for the price to be honest look elsewhere they have some work to do to get up to the standards of their competition. This was just an average stay.

Staff were amazing
We just spent a week at Dreams Estrella in Mazatlan. The resort was amazing, the rooms were excellent, beds comfortable. We stayed in the preferred adult building with a private pool outside our room. The preferred pool bar staff were the best. Very helpful and accommodating. We had a birthday and they went out of their way to make it special with a cabana, food, cake and special coctails. Many thanks to bartenders Hernan, Roberto, Angel, and Juan Carlos. Also, thank you to pool manager Yulisa and Chef Gregorio. You all went above and beyond to make this last week memorable. Murray and Josie from room 1003 We highly recommend staying here.
