Beautiful new resort. Food was above average however as a vegan the choices were extremely limited. The buffet was not open for supper any of the nights we were here. Eating at a buffet usually offers more options for those with food restrictions. No reservations needed at the specialty restaurants. We quickly got tired of the choices in the specialty restaurants. Buffet lunch was ok but nothing fresh cooked. Everything in steam tables. It’s isolated and extremely windy. The staff are very friendly and work very hard. Shout out to Hector serving Drinks, Luis at the activity center and Juan at reception for their great service and friendliness. The lady making pizzas at the barefoot bar did a great job as well.

Everything was amazing the experience the views and even the service at the restaurants especially with Pablo at Meraki! Very attentive and made sure we had a great night. Definitely recommend coming here and trying the amazing food with a great staff.

Jan 2025 trip to dreams
Very nice family resort. Less than a year old and eberyone is very nice. The butler Mark was exceptional and we will vouvh for his professionalism. Its bit far from Mazatlan but no too far. Food was exvellent. They are not good in providing wine and beer to the rooms. No explanation as to why that is.

At Dreams Mazatlan you won’t get all the items promised on the website. The buffet was closed for supper every day while the website said open 7 days a week. The Oceana restaurant was to be open for breakfast but was not available. Unable to get bottles water in any of the restaurants or pool bars which would be standard in other 5 Star resort that we have stayed in. The sports bar was only open 6:00 pm to 11:30 pm, unable to watch sport events as a group anywhere before 6:00 pm. NHL and NFL games No nightly entertainment. Swim up bar didn’t have a bartender at it, you had to go to the bar above it and ask for someone to get drinks. Twice daily house cleaning advertised but never happen once . Requested a bed sheet change twice before it was done. Room not cleaned one day. The positives were nice room and view. Staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout the resort.

It was wonderful.
My son Matt and I stayed in room 3212 from December 21, 2024 to January 3, 2025. We played golf, my son 12 out of 13 days and I golfed 3 days. We thoroughly enjoyed the cuisine from the Seafood, Spanish, Italian , and the Greek Restaurants. Service was exemplary. Breakfast was delicious each day at the main dining room. Each morning we ate breakfast overlooking the Pacific Ocean. This breakfast included latte and or Dark roast coffee. The staff at the pools served us with drinks and friendly conversation. Our Bar service with Manual was extraordinary, Manual greeted us each evening with excellent drinks and wonderful music. Each day we golfed Tanya arranged transport to the golf and Jesus met us with assistance to and from the airport. Angel at the front desk guided my son and I expertly through our needs. As a final note upon leaving the resort we heard Manual at the Desire Bar was fired for some reason. I write this note to say Manual was absolutely first class in making my son and I vacation to the resort wonderful and the reason for our return. James and Matthew France.
