Food was good, but not as much choice at the buffet as resorts in Riviera Maya. It didn’t bother us as we’re not picky eaters but it may others. Other restaurants were great, our favourite being Asian. The resort was very laid back, mainly older couples and families with younger kids, so not a party hotel which suited us perfectly! Staff were all great, the swim out was very cool and we still got ocean views and could see dolphin and whales from the room, as well as the sunsets. The room was also good, and the quietest A/C we’ve ever had, that also actually got cold enough to need more than just a sheet to sleep, beds were also super comfy! Although the ocean is not swim-able here (we knew this before travelling) the beach was empty and you could walk for miles. The turtle sanctuary next door was nice to visit and see the baby turtles. We felt very safe walking along the beach, no vendors selling anything in this area. We went into old town which was about a 40 min taxi ride, hiked the lighthouse trail (El Faro), visited the aquarium, walked the Malecon and had a beer in Plazuela Machado before returning back to the resort.

Sandra makes the best omelettes
We loved Sandra at the omelette station for the morning buffet. She is so friendly and extremely fast - so nice and grateful, just a beautiful human. Thank you Sandra!

Highly recommended
Lovely resort. Rooms were spacious, always clean and modern. Food top notch, specifically the specialty restaurants. Service was excellent, although at times seemed a bit understaffed. Highly recommend.

10/10 Experience - Will Definitely Be Returning.
Beautiful resort - it is very new. Added bonus that it is close to the airport (10 min). Rooms are beautiful and extremely clean. All of the staff was incredible. From bar staff to the entertainment team, it was 10/10 experience. The Explorers club for the littles was an awesome addition. They had fun activities planned out and took great care of our toddlers. Food was 10/10 at every single restaurant, including the buffets. Hospitality staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. The pools were well kept, warm and we had a blast every day out at the pool. Beach was absolutely beautiful. Every room has a stunning view of the sunsets. Our entire group said they would go back to this resort again. 10/10 vacation. Fantastic for families or couples.

Overall has been excellent!
We are enjoying our week . Sandra who makes omelettes at the buffet is wonderful. Always cheerful and happy and makes great omelettes.
