Jan 25, 2026Beautiful Resort on the Caribean Sea.
I really liked the spacious rooms, as they provided an open feel that did not feel cramped. The location on the Caribbean Sea was pleasant and offered water clarity good enough to snorkel in the immediate area. My favorite part of the resort was the visuals, from the architecture to the palm trees and beautiful flora throughout the property. The staff were friendly, kind, and spoke many languages to accommodate guests appropriately. The resort was clean throughout and well manicured. The entertainment provided was excellent and had me reflecting on it each day. I would recommend a stay at Dreams Dominicus if you have the chance. You will not regret it.

Picturesque Resort with great service and great entertainment
My husband and I stayed here the week of January 17th through 24, 2026 and truly enjoyed our time here! Our room was spacious with a tall ceiling, very comfortable beds, and a deck overlooking the scenery. There were plenty of amenities in the bathroom including a clothesline, and also a refrigerator which housekeeping kept stocked full of drinks for us. We really loved the pools areas as they were so beautiful with Gorgeous landscaped bushes, trees, and flowers that made it look like a postcard in every direction. While we felt the specialty restaurants were just okay, we preferred the buffet and usually found good choices there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The 24/7 Coco Cafe on site with specialty coffees and various pastries, yogurt, and apples was a nice treat. We were usually able to find loungers available in the afternoon when we were ready to hit the beach, despite there being a lot of people out there. The beach itself was very clean with white sand, no rocks, and gentle waves that made swimming and snorkeling a total possibility. There was a beautiful covered Dock at the end of the pier which was a stunning setting for 9:30 a.m. yoga class. The entertainment/fitness team put out a lot of activities all day long, Veronika was especially sweet and helpful. Domingo the activities director did a great job as well. The evening shows were phenomenal -- world-class acrobatics performances, synchronized swimming, fire breathing, and magic show were just some of the lineup. Drinks had the proper amount of alcohol and we really enjoyed the Excursion opportunities at the resort also -we can totally recommend the Saona Island full day tour and the sunset boat cruise. All in all a chill vibe, in the most beautiful setting, we would love to return!

Stunning location. Beautiful resort. Our room was big , pretty and very clean. Our pool was cleaning every day. Room service was very good. Nice restaurants. Good food. Only disappointment was the buffet one. The entertainment team was great. A lot of activities .

Beach much nicer in Bayahibe...unless you enjoy Sargassum weed :[
This beach is top notch. The Dreams Dominicus (Bayahibe) has nice soft sand, fairly clear water, a few waves but not rough water. The beach is not wide (water to chairs), but is clear and soft. To the left and right, as one hikes the beach, there are some areas with rocks, including in front of some of the other adjacent resorts. This Dreams (CAUTION: there is another Dreams closer to La Romana and I was confused for a while), is all sand until the adjacent shops which cascade right down to the water line (east/south of resort). BEST of ALL--NO SARGASSO WEED. We went to Bavaro right after Dreams (trying two areas in one vacation), and I was really disappointed in the beach. After Bayahibe area, the Bavaro/Punta Cana beach was frankly a little ugly by comparison. And, there are many of boats anchored in front of some Bavaro areas; I saw no boats in front of Dreams.
