Save your money and go to Aruba
Arrived at the main reception by the airport shuttle provided , we were then taken by golf cart to the reception for the Il mare club. All well, we were given some information re the resort along with a gold paper key which we had to take back to the main reception and speak to guest services any time between 08:00 and 20:00. We went to reception at 18:45 and were told they were closing and to come back tomorrow . We showed them the gold key with the timings on and were told that was wrong, and we have to come back tomorrow as she is leaving now. (Great customer service) The first night we decide to eat at the Battelino restaurant which serviced the Il mare customers one of only two times we would eat there. We were sat close to the kitchen door which did not have any form of soft closure on it so every time a member of staff came through it closed with large bang, we both had cold starter, so it meant they came in a timely fashion I had order a main dish as well, this took over an hour to come and when it did it was poorly cooked and luke worm. During this hole time we were only offered the one glass of wine. The service level of the waiting staff was terrible for this class of hotel. The following morning we decided to go to the buffet for breakfast. The choice of food was limited compared to say the RUI buffet we experience in may when it came to the egg station you got what you were give even if you asked for you eggs or omelet don a specific way. What was most disappointing was the quality of cooking they have the quality ingredients but just ruin them when cooking. The amenity desk at the main reception basically only wanted to assist you with only the tours they sold in their book any thing ells they didn't even want to point you in the right direction. There was a glass bottom boat that operated off the dock attached to the hotel, apparently it only offered trips to the Dreem customers on a Friday when we asked how to book it we were told to go to five different places, none of which could help us, we never got to go on the trip needless to say. Accommodation the pod location was excellent and was the only thing we enjoyed about the vacation. But it was only a year old, when it rained which it did often we had to putt beach towels down on the floore to soak up the water from the leeks. Due to these leeks the floor was starting to lift and a potential trip hazard. The towel rack in the basin area was barely hanging on the wall and two screws had been put through from the utility room behind the toilet, if you were to slip and put your hand on them, you would be going to hospital for some stiches. Booked a table for supper at Zoetry the neighboring hotel for 19:00 had a quick drink at the Blu bar before we asked them to order the golf cart to take us there. On checking, they informed us that there were no golf carts tonight as they were being charged, so I msg. Our butler and asked what we were going to do for supper now that we could not get to Zoetry all I got back in reply was a sad face emoji, verry helpful. Though the beach area by our pod was verry nice and the view was great. The beach staff had the same work ethic as the restaurant staff. The sun loungers were only put back in order three times in a nine day stay, glasses and empty champagne bottle would stay on the beach for up to three days before collection and beach towels could be there for up to four days even after torrential rain falls. There are other things we could bring up but what is the point. When I look at the reviews on TripAdvisor the hotel is not listening. The problem rests with the management for not insisting on higher standards from their staff, but if this is standard the management are happy with then definitely stay away from this resort. Even the response's to people's concerns are cut and paced by G. Tromp Sales Trainee and management have done nothing to fix the same issues from two years ago

Disappointing Experience at Dreams Curaçao
We chose Dreams Curaçao to celebrate our anniversary, drawn by the promise of an “Unlimited-Luxury experience offering a natural luxury escape.” Unfortunately, our stay was filled with issues that do not reflect the standards of a five-star resort. - Upon arrival, the front desk staff was not welcoming, and our room was delivered after 4:00 pm. - The room key did not work, the shower knob fell off preventing us from bathing, and the sink only dispensed hot water. - A room service order placed through the hotel app never arrived; when asked, we were told the app had failed. - At the bar, there was no milk for cappuccinos and no beer available for guests. - During our four-night stay, only one specialty restaurant was open, with limited menu options and quality far below what is expected from a luxury resort. A property that advertises itself as “Unlimited-Luxury” should ensure basic standards of hospitality, maintenance, and service. Sadly, our experience was far from luxurious and deeply disappointing for such a special occasion as our anniversary.

Avoid Dreams Curacao Resort and Casino
Do not go to Dreams Casino and Resort Curacao. You will be disappointed. It is on the beautiful ocean water, although their beach is very small and rocky. And their pools do have a beautiful view of the ocean. The resort as a whole is in desperate need of an update/repair. You can pay extra for Preferred Club but there is no value to that. You have access to some bottles of alcohol, but then need to mix your own drink. Yes, snacks are put out each day, but then they sit there all day not being refreshed. In general, the employees ignored the guests. There were a few stand out very helpful and positive employees, but not many. You cannot easily get a pool chair or pool towels. If you want any quiet or adult time, you will have needed to pay the crazy price for Mare bungalows so that you could be at that adult pool. Only Mare guests have access to Zoetry across the street. This resort does not meet Hyatt standards. Rooms needed paint and repairs. We had to change rooms 3 times to actually get an ocean view when we had paid for Preferred Club Jr Suite Oceanview. By the way, Jr Suite ... although more expensive and larger, will NOT get you an oceanview. You can only get an oceanview with the Oceanview Rooms. Also, you will only have an oceanview if you are on level 4 or 5. This resort advertises multiple restaurants and they do not have them. They technically have 3 but 2 are always closed so you can have the choice of one or the buffet. The menus at the restaurants is extremely limited.

Great location. friendly service, poor dining, dated facilities
Would not recommend going as family. Poor dining choices across entire resort including preferred section in comparison to other Dreams resorts I've gone to.
