Definitely not a 5 * Star Hotel. Left feeling slightly underwhelmed
The hotel itself is actually quite nice, located 20mins or so from the airport and a €25 taxi ride from the main town of Corfu. Gouvia is a quiet area with a handful of restaurants and bars outside of the hotel if you wanted a change from eating within. The main restaurant has a wide range of food for every course and the food is really good, the restaurant staff are really nice and accommodating. Plenty of high chairs which was refreshing to see. The other A la Carte restaurants were hit & miss, didn’t receive the same level of service across the board which was disappointing. The room was an okay size for the 3 of us but once you put the cot up it became quite tight for space. The pool areas were okay, plenty of sun beds to go around across the 2 main pool areas, the swimming pools themselves were freezing cold however. They were far too cold to stay in for a prolonged period of time and my 2 year old son didn’t want to go in over knee height which says a lot. The child pool by the main pool was filthy most days and the resident ducks closed the pool on one occasion for fouling in it. They do however have constant replenishments of snacks and ice creams to go with the free drink. (Local Beer very weak, can drink it all day and it has no impact on you - probably for the best) The entertainment was reasonable and different most nights, they have a good play area for kids and an evening show specifically for them for around 30 mins before the adult entertainment starts which was a nice touch. We did have some heavy downpours some evenings and there wasn’t any contingencies so everyone was forced in the main reception area. The pool areas attracted so many wasps of some sort which was quite annoying. The holiday did end on a disappointing front where the cleaner took away a sentimental item from our room and the lack of attention, empathy and urgency to find it from the laundry room was really poor. No one seemed interested at all and after my wife threatened to go there herself to find it then did it become a focus and funnily enough it was found within 30mins after her kicking off. Overall I’d say the hotel is no where near a 5* hotel or service and there’s a lot better value for money elsewhere. Unfortunately we won’t be returning

Above average all inclusive resort
Decent resort with good service poolside and decent number of sun beds so no 'reserving' needed or evident. Difficult to get advice in dietary issues at buffet as very busy. Rooms overlooking pool in 'preferred Club' very good. Preferred club lounge bit small and staff very rushed on it. Speciality restaurants not very special at all. All in all a decent resort

Wonderful stay; suitable for all; would definitely recommend!
Our holiday at the Dreams Corfu Resort & Spa has been an amazing. All the staff from the moment you arrive and throughout our stay were super friendly, polite and helpful. We had a lovely pilates sessions with Piet and yoga with the fitness team...they also joined us for a game of UNO one evening which was highly entertaining! The Greek Restaurant Yiayia is one not to miss, but do make sure you make your reservations as soon as possible. We had a very pleasant housekeeping team and Flora was so thoughtful, in that she went out of her way to fetch us an extra umbrella when rain was expected. The Spa team...just wow! You walk in and feel at home. The atmosphere, the way you are treated and the delicious tea just add perfection to the whole experience. Thank you to each and everyone at the Resort...we would definitely recommend coming back.

Great Stay
The staff were amazing, very attentive, especially the ladies at the spa - Eleni, Effie and Gogo. The food was great - lots of choice and the resort was beautiful. Just remember to pre-book the reserved restaurants…we recommend the Greek food! Flora from housekeeping was also lovely - giving us an umbrella when it was raining one of the days. Thank you to the staff for a lovely holiday!
