Great Family Resort
Great Family Resort. 4 and 6 year kids had a blast. Explorers club was fantastic. Food was best I have had at any dreams (been to 5-6 different ones). Staff was very attentive.

The best all-inclusive service and food we have had!
Amazing food, kid's club so you can get a few hours away. Beach and pool! You will not regret being here! The pools are amazing. Beach is okay - not great and not bad; we are mostly pool goers with the kids.

Noisy!! Construction Zone Next Door
Where to start? We were persuaded to upgrade our room to panoramic preferred. While the room was lovely, decent view & had open air hallway it butted up right next to an active construction site. Jack hammering, beeping trucks & hammering from about 7:45 am to 5:30-6. Siestas were not an option. Upset I went to the manager and asked why we were not informed of the construction when being sold on an upgraded room. He says it’s illegal for them to discuss. Be warned all of Dreams faces construction. The manager said I could move rooms but a refund on the upgrade would not be given unless I moved. My husband was hesitant to move so I logged a written complaint through their app and let it go The next day at around 5:30 someone from customer service at the hotel called my room, emphasizing how they wanted to make this right. Feeling the need to allow them to make our experience better. We packed our stuff and moved to a room I was told would be much quieter. We then went to dinner. After dinner I realized what a mistake we had made. Our “quiet” room was on the 6th floor which is a major walkway to the water park & other restaurants. They had not only put us on that floor but also in a room between two elevators and across the hall from a staff room in which room service trays were returned. Between the walkie-talkies of the staff and the constant coming and going of guests I went down to front desk at midnight in tears. No one called the next morning. So I went to the lobby again - asked why they put us there & was told basically no one else is complaining but they could try another room. Again I packed & moved this time to the 8th floor away from elevators. While the hallways still reverberate noise very loudly it was better in terms of the number of people passing by and was far enough away from construction that it was just slightly audible from inside hotel room, balcony sitting was a no go as it looked out over rubble & was still loud (see pics). In the end, I had to speak management 6 times & move twice during my 5 night stay, I had to demand compensation & quite frankly was brought to tears by the experience. I would not recommended this hotel - the “Jungle” view for Dreams at least no longer exists albeit for the odd numbered rooms and floor 6 is a nightmare. The food was good for an all inclusive & restaurant/resort staff all very nice. Management however did not seem to communicate internally nor really present solutions to the problem.

Rocky beach but amazing hotel!
We loved our visit to this hotel! While the layout doesn’t make a lot of sense and the beach is very rocky, we still had a five star week!

Absolutely Amazing
This was a fantastic trip. We had a quick pivot from another vacation idea at the last minute due to catastrophic weather. It's our third time in Puerto Vallarta, but the first time we've vacationed as a family there in 9 years. This was, by and far, our most enjoyable vacation ever. The kids were blown away by the food. My teenager and tween regularly got room service the entire trip and ate it all up. So many amazing smiles and memories were made. Thank you for turning our frowns upside down with the amazing week!
